Visited today for our wedding anniversary lunch ! Pleasant atmosphere, the veggie/vegan roast was really good!. Gravy that came with the meal was lovely and veg was cooked well too! Wish we could have stayed longer! Dog friendly, so will definitely visit again on a weekday to try their usual menu
Stayed for one night at the Inn and found it to be absolutely spot on. Ian, Linda and the waiting staff were lovely, friendly, smiley & helpful - perfect hosts. The chef is obviously highly trained as the food was excellent. Cannot fault any part of our stay. Will definitely return. Thank you s
Enchanting thatched inn on Dartmoor. Very friendly staff. Lovely rooms, spotless ly clean. Tasty meals. We had a wonderful stay here. Loved the character of this old inn. The owners have done it proud. Can't wait to have another stay here.

I had the hake which lay on a minimal layer of vegetables, with truffle chips followed by the panna cotta. Both meals were very tasty, especially the sweet.

Lovely pub on the edge of Dartmoor. Doesn't look much from the front but has a beautiful garden with a river running through it at the back.

Held a family party here on Saturday 15th for 11 people. Food was organized in advance and served in very good timing. All very delicious! Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was just perfect, cosy and intimate.
This is definitely the best roast dinner we've ever had and we've had a few. In alot of different pub's and restaurants Lisa and the staff gave us a very warm welcome and our dog. The food was amazing cooked to perfection and you didn't need a second mortgage to eat here. Highly recommend this pub .
