Lovely little spot for a pre or post walk at Ogmore. Sandwiches were packed full of high quality fillings. Pretty courtyard and some inside seating. Service was a little slow as they'd just had a big phone order. Not enough seats when it got a little busy.
The main restaurant wasn't open when we visited. Would like to give the bottomless brunch a go....
Lovely surroundings especially on a sunny day. Husband and daughter had sandwiches but husband asked could he have no onions but was refused, he ended up having to take them out. Service is rather slow but this could be due to them making everything fresh ( so why there could be no onions in the sandwich I do not know).
Son had food from The Catch which he thought was amazing ( bit of a wait it was busy there though) and everything cooked fresh, he was really happy.
What an amazing little place this is, the food is absolutely amazing. It will not disappoint if you pop in for breakfast or brunch, there’s a fish and chip shop at the back which I’m yet to try. If you’re heading towards Ogmore beach make sure to pick up a sandwich on your way.
Fantastic place. Really quaint in deco. Spotlessly clean. Staff really welcoming and friendly. My dog was also welcomed. Lots of dogs in there on our visit was fantastic atmosphere.
Food was also fabulous. Excellent value for money. I opted for vegan meal which was really tasty. Lovely variety in my salad, with tasty vegetables pie. Definitely will be returning soon.
Thought I'd pop here after seeing them in the news. I opted for the steak and cheese sandwich which was alright, just expected more from a visual point after seeing their photos, and wanted the cheese to be melted
Tasted fine mind, so no real complaint
Great except for the steak.
I had a steak sandwich that was very very gritty and was constantly having to bin bits of bad meat. You could tell it wasn't fresh either. Flavours were good though.
Giving 4 stars because the rest of the group loved their sandwiches, just wished I had gone for something else.
As a wedding photographer I love this venue - rustic and intimate with a lot of interesting areas. With the coast being 5 minutes away (or a little more if you fancy a different beach) there is also the option of heading for some stunning Bride and Groom shots. The staff are lovely, I can't recommend it enough. I'll be back here three times in 2023 and really can't wait!
Edit - I forgot to mention the most important part..the food is awesome!
Super cute and cozy spot for food and a nice cup of tea. We stopped in to treat ourselves to a Christmas Eve afternoon tea, which was delicious. Even though we had the latest booking of the day and the staff must have been anxious to leave and start their Christmases, we did not feel rushed at all. Well definitely be returning 😁
After visiting three castles in the area, we liked the look of this place to stop and have some to eat.
This place has a lot of charm with its cobbled floor small rooms with the tables being made of old sewing machine bases and reclaimed wooden tops.
The food was amazing, we tried the pancakes and the Hash Benedict faultless. We certainty didn’t need anything else to eat.
We will call again 👍

Went here for some lunch, staff where fabulous, the food was delicious. They also had a deli in another building, dog friendly
Would recommend highly
We had an afternoon tea which was kindly rearranged by the staff, as it was originally a birthday present but I had to undergo emergency surgery and postpone it.
They could not have been more helpful or understanding, the food was so fresh it felt indecent to eat it!
Fresh and full of flavour, I could not recommend it any higher!
Myself and a friend went to Cobbles this weekend before a beach walk with her dog, George.
We booked ahead online a few days before and were able to select to notify the team that we would be bringing a dog along.
It was a bit confusing when we arrived as I wasn't sure where we were going as they were setting up for a wedding and the deli area is separate to the restaurant.
We figured it out eventually and were sat down straight away. The restaurant was quiet but lovely and clean. George made himself comfortable on the floor and had lots of fuss made of him, which he loved.
I ordered a vegan breakfast and my friend ordered a gluten free breakfast. There was a nice range of items on the menu and they had alternative milks available for my tea which was great. They even cooked a sausage for George which he was very pleased with!
The staff were all so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure and I would not hesitate to visit again.
Beautiful setting, managed to find a table for 2 of us outside. The food is lovely, with a lot of choice.
The only downfall for me is the seating, especially on a hot day it is quite limited.
Upon arriving, the quaint and homely nature of cobbles is immediately obvious. One feels removed from the pace of life, there is no "fast food" atmosphere here (although the service is very prompt). It is a place to relax with friends/loved ones and enjoy some locally sourced, well prepared food. Our breakfasts were superb, with the fresh ingredients evident in every bite. Clearly there has been a great deal of thought creating this menu as the flavours compliment each other beautifully.
Service was exemplary; polite, professional and swift.
In a challenging time for the hospitality industry, cobbles exhibits an escape from the fast-paced stresses of urban life. Everyone involved is to be commended for their hard work, passion and committment to quality.
Really friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful. Great variety for a chippy and the best thing is they do proper chippy chips!! The sauce comes in a container you could swim in and not one of those 1 dip thimbles you normally get. Cant wait to go again.
Breakfast bagels were perfect, followed by “Cookie pie” dessert.
Only found this place by pure chance but by god what a gem of a find! Food is fantastic! Staff are lovely and it's such a beautiful little place! 100% recommend this place!
I popped over to Wales for a little staycation and stopped off at this deli for a coffee and some food en route to Dunraven Bay. It was a wise choice as the lady serving me (Anna) was lovely and made an excellent latte. The bonus is that the deli serves Minor Figures oat milk rather than a poor quality milk substitute. I was really impressed by the choice on the menu. Off the top of head, I remember a sweet potato and pakora sandwich. I went for the chorizo and chicken with pesto pictured below, which I'm relieved I bought to take with me on another trip this time to Three Cliffs Bay as I couldn't find anywhere appetising to eat at that location. I have a yeast intolerance so I requested sourdough bread instead of the usual ciabatta and the staff were very accommodating. I loved this place so much that I went every day after breakfast during my staycation. If I lived in Wales, I'd be a regular at this deli for sure. I would have eaten in but it was fully booked so I opted for a take-away. I also ordered a chocolate brownie on two separate occasions; both excellent but the fudge chocolate one was simply amazing (and I'm not a fan of brownies). This deli is a must-visit. Top ratings for the food, service and setting.
