After a hike over the moors with our dog we decided to have a well earned glass of wine outside in the sunshine. We had a quick look over the menu and to my partners delight found they served a good gluten free selection, we both had the Cajun chicken wrap, a treat for andy as they had gluten free wraps. It was a simple but delicious meal made even better with a extra portion of real hand cut chips by far the best chips I've had in a long time. We will be back again next time we are in the area. Staff were fab with good knowledge of dietary requirements this makes the whole experience easy and much more enjoyable thank you.
We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Moorlands Inn on 26th May 2018 and it was absolutely perfect. Everybody loved the food and the amount of food that guests get, and also the staff are so attentive and polite. Susan, Sarah and the team are also so dedicated and are so willing to go the extra mile to make your special day perfect, everything ran so smoothly. They're were on the other end of the phone or an email if you have any questions or queries and also were prepared to organise many meetings in the run up so that we fully understood how everything would go. We visited Ogden for our professional photos which is only up the road and got some really stunning images. They helped dress the venue the day before and also prepared it for the meal and reception with such a quick turn around. For me the Moorlands is my favourite eating place & they have a good choice of beers. We've been going there for more than 20 years & the quality of the food and service, has always been top quality.
I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal in the 10 years + iv been eating here it’s not the cheapest but you get what you pay for A very good meal
We had our wedding here on Saturday 21st Oct. From the minute we decided on the Moorlands marquee as our venue we had a first class service from Susan and her team. Nothing has been too much trouble. On the day everything went to plan and this was down to Susan and her amazing team off staff. We had the best time ever..... in fact we were blown away how stunning the marquee looked after our wedding planner Natasha had dressed it for us. The food was beautiful. The stage for our band was amazing! The DJ had music for all tastes and because of this the dance floor was always full! Everyone should be so proud of their achievements on Saturday. We would highly recommend the Moorlands as a venue for all occasions. �

We were in the beautiful marqueee yesterday celebrating my 70th birthday with family. Everything was excellent, Sara welcomed us and all the staff were so pleasant and helpful. Everyone said the hot buffet was excellent. One or two people who had not been to The Moorlands said they would now go and have a meal there. Thank you to all involved. Regards, Anne Ryan.

What an amazing experience we had!! Susan and the team go all out!! It was so magical from start to finish. The food was hot and executed perfectly so guests were not waiting ages.
I've attended a wedding and a wedding content shoot and visited the restaurant and I can honestly say it's the most beautiful place I've ever seen, the scenery around is perfect for any occasion, the food is also lovely fresh and piping hot upon arrival. Went out with friends for lunch, first time I've been and would definitely recommend. The staff are so efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. I chose the roast beef baguette with onions, it was delicious and I was disappointed I couldn't finish it, my fault for ordering an extra portion of chips but I couldn't resist. The baguette was so fresh and soft and the beef was melt in the mouth. Loved it
Amazing food and service. We were met by a lovely blonde waitress who was very friendly and attentive throughout the night. The food was outstanding, especially the pie and the curry!! The duck special was gorgeous too. Would highly recommend!!
Attended for the Harry potter quiz and it was a lot of fun! Well organized event with good ambience and company.
Our seats were comfortable, and we enjoyed a lot. Only issue is that the food took two hours, and arrived without cutlery or any condiments, but otherwise did have a good time.

Table had some spilled salt on it which we had to ask to have cleaned up, but the staff were friendly and nice. Good amount of parking and nice interior to the place.
What can I say rang today on the off chance of a table . Wow first time we’ve eaten here and will be back lamb kofta and chicken masala out of this world. The others had surf and turf and loved theirs . Great food great staff great prices. Friendly busy pub awesome food

First time in last night, after booking a table as a surprise for my partner. Was not disappointed! It was busy with customers and weddings but the service was second to none and the food was the best I've tasted in a long time! Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. We had 3 courses and found ourselves struggling to choose between Everything on the menu.. Everything looked so good as it was coming out. Can't wait to come again. Thank you for a fab night.
