The best lunch time pub meal I have had in a very long time. Steak pie was delicious, the steak was succulent and the gravy rich. The mash potato was fluffy and light and the veg cooked to perfection. The pudding was to die for, real heavy cream and ice cream with a gorgeous toffee sauce. Service wa

Stopped with my wife on the off chance that the restaurant was open on a Monday. Enjoyed a very generous and tasty starter and main course. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.

I chose jacket potato with tuna & cheese. The potato was hot with a nice soft, fluffy centre. Side salad was crisp and fresh.

We attended a wedding reception here, it is a fabulous place, the food was fantastic, one of the best BBQs I have seen. Staff were great and attentive. It is also situated in a lovely village. Thoroughly recommended and we would seek this pub out if we were ever in the area again.
Stopped off for a bit of lunch today while on a 🚲 ride with my young son. Went to order some food at the bar, and was recommended a portion of freshly made quiche the chef had just made, served with chips and salad, at a reasonable price, which we had, and which was absolutely lovely! Had a lovely last minute booked meal. The food especially the chips was amazing. The 2 lads working that night were a credit to the pub. Even though the kitchen was shut one went out his way to ensure my friend and I got a pudding and my goodness, it was so worth it.

The Red Lion is a Truly Great Freehouse Pub with a warm and cozy pub atmosphere! Had a great dinner with the whole family. Recently stayed in a room at the Red Lion following a wedding at Offley Place. Great service - checking in and collecting the key was simple and the room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our one night stay. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.
Been here twice recently, both times the food has been outstanding & only topped by the staff. Everyone we dealt with was really friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back soon.
Good run of the mill food in a prime location of the beautiful Offley. Always seems to be in the middle of a long walk or ride!
Front garden facing the road and parking spaces is a bit weird but the staff couldn't be friendlier and always quick to serve.
