Staying at a local campsite, chose the bridge over a couple of other local pubs. Not disappointed, Good selection of drinks. Lovely setting next to the river. Food was great, could not fault it. Wifey had the risotto off the specials which she said tasted really fresh. I had the burger which was huge, All at a reasonable price they offer small and large plates on most the menu, next time we are down we will defo be back.

Lets Talk Sunday Dinner. I often find that i'm let down by Sunday dinner when eating out, but not at The Bridge Inn. We walked down without a booking, the place was heaving (great to see), and of course they managed to squeeze us in. The first thing i'd like to point out, unlike many places that offer a limited selection of meats at the Bridge Inn you get a great selection, makes it hard to choose thought. I spotted a cheeky Lamb kebab for starter, when it arrived it was accompanied with a cus cus which i normally wouldn't bother with, this however was outstanding, so many lovely flavours, its changed my view of cus cus, and the kebab was fantastic. For main I opted for Slow Cooked Belly Pork which was OMG, it was fall apart and very tasty, and to get crispy roast potatoes in a pub, whatever next (how often are you disapointed with roast pots when eating out) well these were bob on. Seasonal veg and cauli cheese accompany the plated meal. Add to this great service, great drinks and what more could you ask for. Highly recommend you try Sunday Dinner, not that any other day of the week isn't just as good lol. Make sure you book or you could fine yourself with food envy. Enjoy. Sorry about the rubbish photos, better next time :)

A fantastic location wonderful location. Great beer and food. Staff really helpful. Was a wonderful warm evening so everyone outdoors which was great but cars parked too close to where your eating and drinking. Buy that's only nit picking.

Fantastic food, friendly fast service . Lovely location by river but unfortunately it rained so we couldn't sit outside. Only negative was the parking. Very limited and you either reversed in or out. People sitting outside(in rain) were brushing against the cars to get to seating area.

Have stopped here on my travels by boat over the last five years, was always ok but a bit dated. This year we where wowed by the transformation into an a great riverside pub. The front of house where very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble and the food was fabulous, prepared by the chief/owner who was also a pleasure to talk with, not forgetting the lovely Rudolph his German pointer, slightly mad! Would highly recommend a stop off here for some good old fashion hospitality.

Excellent to see Alistair and the team working so hard since the re-opening a few weeks ago. The food and service are top notch along with a good selection of lagers. The new benches and umbrellas alongside the river, the fresh coat of paint to the outside and deckchairs give The Bridge a great spot to relax with views of the river
