I'm veggie. The only main course on the menu which interested me was a dish I'd eaten the previous evening at our local pub. So they produced a Mediterranean veggie meal just for me. Happily. With a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. And it was so good I would eat it again tomorrow!

Just surprised my wife with a trip down to the pub for lunch. Great menu and brilliant service. I had the ham and eggs and Shazza had the steak sandwich

Just stayed here for 2nights. On arrival we had been moved rooms, we had an upgrade to the one bedroom apartment with river views. Stunning room, friendly staff, clean and tidy in all areas. We ate on site both nights, slight delay in getting food but well worth the wait. We had full English breakfast too and great breakfast for £10. Well worth a visit.

I was very pleases with my visit and stay here. The food was lovely, the staff were very very pleasant, could not do enough for us, a big shout out for Joyce, and Nick the manager or owner. I stayed overnight in the apartment upstairs it was lovely, and had a full English the following morning, definitely be going again.

Searched some local places close to the South Littleton area and this place came up with some excellent reviews. We booked a table and was greeted warmly on arrival. Service staff were very friendly, helpful and made good conversation with the kids. The menu doesn’t have many options for kids (3), but with chicken, fish, sausages being the three options, they cover most appetites. Our kids ordered the fish and chicken and both were very well cooked and fresh - including the batter. The mains were equally delicious as well as the desserts. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and reasonably priced with a large beer garden to the rear and ample parking and the river across the road, we will definitely be visiting this place again!

Food was top notch beer good. Got drinks at thr bar and told the young lady serving us that we had booked a table for food. Told to sit at whatever table we wanted but no menus, expecting someone to bring them over. So slight disappointment that we had to go ask for menus for the table after waiting between 5 and 10 mins at the table. Can't judge the rooms as stayed on the campsite behind the pub. Don't know if they are connected but campsite was lovely.

What can i say, wow! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the roast sirloin beef, my wife had the seabass and my two children had the roasted chicken. It was perfect, size, flavour and presentation were all a 10/10. Location was excellent. Views at the back of the hills with a nice beer garden and at the front, a beautiful river. If you have an opportunity to go make sure you do. You wont be disappointed

My partner and I went for a Sunday Roast. I had the pork belly and he had the roast beef with all the trimmings. Both were delicious and couldn't fault anything on the plate. We both had desserts which were equally as good. Great value for money in a lovely setting. I'd highly recommend and look forward to going back.

Fantastic meal at the Fish and Anchor this afternoon. We were greeted and served by Nick. He was very welcoming and friendly. The food was incredible and we did not have to wait long. I highly recommend this venue and will definitely be returning.

Noticed it had just reopened. Didn't know if we wanted to eat there, but, as soon as walked in from the back, it was a yes. Clean, tidy, good layout, comfortable, colour scheme and decor lovley. Definitely going back and taking friends. Campsite looked good and half full at least.

Welcoming friendly staff (despite being busy and short staffed) Warned there would be a 20 minute wait for food, which we didn't mind, we weren't in a hurry, and appreciated being told) Delicious pub food at very reasonable prices. Pub right next to the quiet campsite which was great. Thank you.
