Delicious Sunday lunch with the family. I throughly recommend the Yew Tree the food was great and it's by far the best lunch out we've had in a long time. I'm seriously stuffed now though so it's an afternoon of films and snoozing on the sofa!

Fantastic meal. Made to feel very welcome, even though we arrived for food just as they finished taking orders. Will definitely be returning and recommending!

Thank you to all staff last night for an amazing Christmas Work Do. Food was as always amazing, all 3 courses were superb. A special "THANK YOU" to the lovely Waitress/ Barmaid who looked after us all. We all agreed it was the best we have had over the years. Merry Christmas to you all at the Yew Tree. x

Fantastic meal and a great location. Very atmospheric. We dined on a Tuesday evening which turned out to be very busy. The girl behind the Bar performed miracles! She never lost her sunny disposition, although under extreme pressure.

After a short visit to the hospital, we decided to grab a bit to eat at the Yew Tree. 1st time visit for me, but my Wife has been there some 20yrs ago. What a lovely surprise. We were met with a lovely smile & cheery attitude. (Very rare these days) The food we ordered was 1st class, and the Bar Lady / Waitress was very attentive. Will certainly be visiting again in the near future. Thank you.

Popped in because it was close to where we were staying. I wish this this could be my local. Amazing staff, great beer and a fantastic atmosphere. Now to the food. Just incredible. Words do mot cover how good the food was. Ate here both nights of our stay. People really need to know about this.

Love finding these old country pubs, hidden away but obviously looked after. Good selection of beers and good food menu. Lovely old beams and pleasant garden with plenty of seating indoors and out. Friendly staff.

Had an excellent lunch here (once again) with a group of friends recently. It was all absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. The menu has an excellent selection of dishes, something for everyone and never disappoints. Daily specials too, which included moules mariniere plus they do a good range of tapas! Our choices included fish and chips, beef brisket and one friend had her favourite of halloumi fries. Friendly, helpful staff. No doubt we'll be back as soon as we can arrange it!

Went here today after recommendation off a friend I messaged this morning for a table for 5 and they replied quickly and got us a table today . I’m so glad we came for a roast , it was the best roast I’ve eaten at a pub and they were all so friendly ! Great atmosphere and also dog friendly ( most places say dog friendly and then they are only allowed in the garden) where as dogs can be in the pub too! Deffo be back !it was worth the drive from poole !

It has all the usual pub grub choices, and lots more besides. Freshly prepared, so may be a bit of a wait, even so it was good food, and worth the wait. Deservedly popular (the pub was full for a midweek lunch) so best to book if you want a table.
