Fantastic atmosphere as I walked through the door. Warm welcome and smiley staff! Felt so welcome. The food was to die for ! Great pricing would definitely recommend the roast beef !
A beautiful spot by the water with a delicious menu. Some strange rules about only serving food to certain tables outside (for our visit, at least) but the staff were very accommodating to serve as many people as they could. Double Korean chicken was absolutely delicious, especially the fried tender
Had a lovely Easter Sunday lunch. Service been absolutely lovely and food tasted incredibly. Really enjoyed this place and deffinetely will be back again.
The day was the Women's World Cup, and how lovely to be in a place which did not have a huge TV screen so that we could catch up with old friends without the potential for wails. Gentle service, nice food.
Lovely pub / restaurant right on the canal. Very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. Staff very attentive and quick service to take drink order. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend this establishment.
Good food at the price point but not exceptional. The service was prompt and staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of room inside with the option to sit out in the expansive garden area. Worth a visit.
Visited this morning for breakfast before a dog walk down the canal.. Been before but only for drinks, can honestly say we had such a welcoming warm friendly service, the breakfast was perfect you can spot a decent slice of bacon and sausage before tasting and that's what we had today! The lovely yo
Arrived last night with my family there were 6 of us. It was a sunny evening and we did not have a booking. The staff were so pleasant and did everything they could to accommodate us. They were fantastic and very attentive all night. The menu was great and all of our meals were delicious and cooked
Possibly just taken my number 1 spot for a roast in Hampshire. The food we had was unbelievable at such an affordable price we thought the receipt was wrong! We had two rosé spritz, 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 sides and it came to £52. The chicken liver pâté and a squid for starters were brilliant.
Having moored our canal boat up on the last day of our holiday, we decided to go to the Waterwitch for our last dinner together. Good beer selection and a warm welcome from the landlord. The food selection on the menu was the widest we had been presented with all week. When the food arrived on the t
Sunday lunch with friends. Recommended. Food was good, well kept and poured Guinness and friendly staff. Many thanks.
We went for a break from our walk. We had a warm welcome and the pub had loads of dog walkers come in to have a break too. Would go again. The menu looked lush too
A fantastic place to come. For food & drink. A lovely quaint pub. Very large gardens. With glorious views of the canal. Highly recommended 👌
