We came here 2x during our 3 day stay in Oban because we were so amused and delighted by the staff. They are cheerful and upbeat and friendly and actually seem to like working there! The food is decent, it's a great spot to have a pot of tea and a pastry (we particularly were in love with the Victoria sponge cake), and it's lively and bustling and has lots of fun stuff to look at between the decor and the dishes. Both times we were there we commented on the wallpaper. Great prices and we were able to be seated immediately during the weekday.

The pear/ walnut/ blue cheese salad was very good. The pears were firm and very tasty. The full breakfast had a great combination of goods. Service is order at the counter but servers bring the food. Overall a good lunch!

I had the caramel apple slice which was fresh, gooey and delicious. Had that homemade taste to it. I can't speak for the savoury dishes The photos don't do this place justice. Yesterday I went to a tea room closer to the city centre which was typical of the touristy tasteless kitschy places you find in small towns. Wish I had walked 2 mins more for this place

This is a really nice coffee shop with a large indoor seating area and a good range of cakes. We were warned that they were closing 20mins after we arrived but they were happy for us to go in and have a coffee and cake. A good find.

Such a lovely little spot! Enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast, and - though I didn't order any - the cakes and pastries out front looked so good! The staff were very nice, and the inside is really cute. Right in the town center area.
