One of the nicer JD Wetherspoons because of the location and the atmosphere. Some inside seating has nice views across the harbour and the outside seating is great on a hot day. Menu is the usual fare , drinks are reasonably priced and service here via the app is usually prompt . Can be quite busy but we've always managed to find a seat.

Breakfast deal is great. Ordered the most simple Egg and Cheese Muffin with unlimited tea or coffee. The muffin is excellent 😋Afternoon deal is of good price with refill on coffee / tea. Spacious and many tables. Place order via QR code make the process seamlessly. Food quality is average

Definitely one of the prettiest spoons I've been to, very quick service and good food for a quick lunch.

Brilliant value. You're very much encouraged to 'do it yourself' - order through the app, get your own coffee - but you can order at the bar too. The building is very large and nice with a bar-like atmosphere. Food is good and cheap, though a bit cold (I imagine it is pre-prepared, judging by how quickly it was delivered). Overall, great value for a cheap, large breakfast, but don't expect anything fancy.

As always, Wetherspoons, great value on food & drinks! 1 story building so no going up 4 flights of stairs to reach the toilets! Great views over the sea, right next to the ferry ⛴️!

It was good to be surprised by a Spoons in the busy town of Oban. The location is amazing, right on the harbour overlooking the movement of ferries to the nearby Isles. Decent range of beer including two rotating real ales. Ate there twice and the quality of food was excellent on both occasions. Bar staff were friendly too. A busy venue and definitely worth a visit when in the area.

Even though they were super busy, ordering through their app provided us with very quick service. Drinks arrived very quickly after ordering, as did our meal. We ordered chicken Tikka Masala, chicken wings, and a garlic and cheese pizza. Food was hot upon arrival and tasty. Neither dish was as spicy as indicated by the menu. It was pretty noisy in there due to how busy they were, but I'll give credit to the staff for keeping things cleaned up, and getting food and drinks out quickly. We would return.

We sat at a window seat with the most beautiful views of Oban. We were in just for drinks! We spent the afternoon in here watching the world go by! Totally chilling, loved it. We will go back here when we next visit Oban😁

Friendly staff but perhaps not enough of them, as many tables left un-cleared. My steak was overcooked, but I did not send it back as I was so hungry. Good value deals

A large, modern, open plan part of the Wetherspoons pub chain. Was very busy on the Saturday evening we were there but we still got our food and drinks promptly. Decent enough food at reasonable prices, the selection of beers/lagers/ales is very good and cheap. We had very little interaction with staff as they were busy.

Beautiful location overlooking Oban Harbour. One of the better Wetherspoons I've visited. Right next to ferry terminal aswell so nice warm place to sit and have a coffee whilst waiting for your boat to come in.

It's weatherspoons, 2x small scottish breakfasts plus unlimited hot drinks for just over a tenner. Ordered via web page but the app works fine, I've used it in the past, mugs delivered to table almost instantly so we could get wired into the coffee. Food was mere minutes and I'm forgiving the overdone fried egg. Toilets were really nice, clean, spacious and, I would guess, wheelchair friendly. The restaurant was mainly spacious for wheelchairs but the main door was a bit heavy to open as I recall.

Lovely view over Oban harbour that made the usual wetherspoons that much nicer.

I don't tend to enjoy anything large-scale. I generally prefer, smaller, more intimate, settled environments. But I always enjoy my (admittedly infrequent) visits to this venue. I find it the layout spacious, the staff competent and the drink selection truly impressive. I like that I can go in early, on my own, with a laptop and not feel unwelcome. And even when it's full of other noisy parties, it feels like a safe, friendly place. The location is perfect, overlooking the busy bay - hey, you can even sit outside some of the time! Recommended for meeting friends, relatives or lovers.
