A great lunch today at Loch Melfort. The view is worth the 30 minute ride south of Oban and the beautiful gardens of Arduaine are next door. Dog friendly, a relaxed space in the bar & lounge and a more structured dining room. Only disappointed that they don't do Sunday Lunch although hopefully it

Had a light lunch here. This hotel is in the most beautiful setting looking straight out over Loch Melfort. A good location for either a few days complete relaxation as it is so peaceful sitting in the lounge or in the gardens overlooking the Loch. Or if you are keen walkers it is also a good base.

I've stopped here a few times, excellent service, delicious food and a short beach walk with access from the garden. Well worth a visit!
