A really nice place to have a cup of tea and a sit down after the walk from the ferry.
Nice and polite staff and quick efficient service. The lemon drizzle cake moist and light and the tea nice and hot. There is seating both inside and out so even if the weather is bad, this place would make a conve
Lovely staff and great food. just had a quick bagel and a tea but it was delicious. Perfect when on a walk or cycle on Kerrera. Look out for the peacocks too!
About a 2.5 mile walk from the ferry, with encouraging little signs to keep you going! Nice choice of food and drinks.
Really smooth walk up and around the edge of the island to the Tea Garden and Bunkhouse, slightly disappointed to find out we don't go into the teas house as it's someone's home. The soup and cakes we had were delicious though, and thankfully it was a decent enough day to sit outside and admire the
Lovely spot to stop whilst walking around Kerrera Island.
Great views.
Priority on recycling, which I love.
Bathroom on site also.
Chatty, friendly staff.
The tea garden is an absolutely magical oasis located on a gorgeous little island. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and the view was stunning. There is also a lovely peacock on the property which really added to the ambiance. The owner is a super cool dude, and he has created a won
This was a lovely stop on a trail run for us. The owner was so friendly and the service was very quick. We loved the brie bagel—half inch wide Brie slices !! The fudge brownie was perfect as well. The weather was perfect and it all felt very dreamy. Definitely would recommend! Takes both cash and ca
Wow! it is so admirable to see a family home run business providing such high quality food and service. I particularly loved the Caldo Verde Soup and Chickpea stew - best I’ve had! Their cakes are home baked and incredible. The owner does an amazing job to cater for such a huge number of people comi
Amazing cake which was also gluten and dairy free! Beautiful location. Lovely warm and welcoming staff. They even let us leave our heavy camping bags so we could wander round to the castle in comfort. Well worth a visit
This is an odd one. A lovely cafe nestled in a fantastic location; serving delicious food. On the other hand, extremely cold welcome from the team and some very rigid rules on access, for example it was very wet and we were made to wait >20 minutes in the pouring rain while our order was prepared.
Stopped off for brunch and had tea and lemon drizzle cake. The staff were helpful and happy to give us information to assist us on our route. It was a fairly easy 2.5 mile walk from the ferry and very close to Gylen Castle. We turned back as I felt my old dog wouldn't manage a steep hill if we comp
A great place to relax after a long walk around the island. The service and atmosphere were great. I strongly recommend!
I had a very good experience, was a little confused by ordering system - wait **here ** to order, but no one is there. Don't enter building. A few signs to read, get your head around. After a few hrs wandering island I was hoping to find somewhere for a snack and cuppa. The bagel was amazing, genero
Very lovely tea room, opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the views and atmosphere. Many sheep and a friendly peacock to keep you company. Good drinks and tasty treats.
Ideal place to relax after a hike or when visiting Gylen Castle nearby.
Karrera did not disappoint! The walk to this lovely spot is well worth it. The owner couldn't be any nicer. We had the bagel with brie and chilli jam 😍 and of course we had to try one of each cake! Sat outside in the sun enjoy the fantastic views. Glad there was an outside toilet aswell. Just around
The island is deffo worth visiting! after the walk we came here for a breakfast had a blueberry muffin which was nice, the people were lovely too! And the view to the castle was the best. Only comment is it would be great to have more few options for snacks/options.
A lovely little cafe with everything you need and great for a place to rest after your walk from the harbour. There are vegetarian options and vegan possibly. The staff are terrific. If you are lucky, you might be able to see the resident peahen with her babies as I did in the summer (I could be wro
After a nice walk something to eat or drink is exactly what you want and there they are! You can seat outside or inside a cosy shed, the service is fast and efficient and the lemon drizzle I had today was delicious. Customer toilet available.
My boyfriend and I stumbled across this delightful place on our walk around Kerrera and have literally no complaints! It was so cute and the location was superb. We also really appreciated how it wasn't a rip-off at all (the food was great) since they are the only place on the small island. I hope w
