Absolutely brilliant restaurant. First visit last night on a Saturday. Service from the two chaps was so friendly. The king prawn puree was the best I've ever had. Can't wait to return.
7pm on a Saturday night and we hadn't booked. It was busy, and we were offered a choice between 2 tables. Although they were busy, the service was excellent, and quicker than expected. The menu is extensive but not too much, and it wasn't a problem that it is not a tandoori, the food and especially the nann bread was the best we've had in a long time. The price is so reasonable that we thought they'd left something off the bill!!! Our mistake, everything was without fault. They even had hot towels and after eights to finish. Our waiter was Shumon, and he was friendly and efficient. We honestly think this is the best Indian restaurant overall, ever! Do go. 👍
Popped in here last night later than anticipated to find them nearly closed. However, we were met with a most warm welcome and invited to take a seat all the same. The food was delicious and the service was even better! We will be back, just not as late next time! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

A weekend break in Oakham. We ate here both evenings. Absolutely delicious food. Nice and small restaurant. Very warm welcome from the guy who was working both nights. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Definitely will be returning when we visit Oakham again.

Balti house is definitely our go to place to eat! Highly recommend. Staff are super friendly , quick service too and food is always right!
Despite living near Oakham for 8 years, this week was the first time we have been to the Rutland Balti House and was really impressed. The restaurant is small with seating for about 20 and take away customers pop in to collect from the bar area. Good selection on the menu, and very well cooked with great tastes. Reasonably priced food and good service. Definitely worth a visit.
Great service. Such a variety of food and made to a very high standard. Staff are very accommodating and attentive. Good price mark. Great night out.

Always my go to. Better than all restaurants available on just eat/food hub so worth the collection. Food is always good quality and good portions. Very friendly easy going staff.

Balti House was fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff, and an extensive good value menu. The Lamb Tikka Tawa was genuinely one of the best curries I have ever had
