The 1st time I have been to Gate Garden centre and wow, what a treasure of a place .
Its alot bigger than what you see from the outside, just a tip if you are bringing elderly relatives I suggest you drop them off at the drop off point near the front door then park due to the car park being on a nat

Wonderful afternoon at Gates. Lovely lunch followed by gazing at all the well kept plants. Then on to the Christmas display. Absolutely beautiful!
Enjoyed looking round the Christmas decorations. Staff in the pavers and lake land very helpful. Food in the restaurant tasty,hot and plenty of choice.
Had a light lunch in the Courtyard Coffee Shop at the Gates Garden Centre. Excellent service, very fast and good food. Coffee was very good. Would certainly recommend visiting. Even the gents loos were amusing..... And decorative. 👍

Christmas displays are amazing! If you are lacking in Christmas spirit this season, head on down to Gates! Again, beautiful displays this year! I am going back next week without the children to have a proper look!!
It has grown a lot since my last visit, so there is a lot more variety now. Very good range of products, best urinals I have ever seen (see below).
Restaurant could be better, especially the topside of roast beef, which was more like a TV microwave meal (hence 4 stars).

An excellent place to visit all year round but especially during the festive season! The food is always amazing and the farm shop has an amazing selection of quality produce. The garden centre itself has an abundance of choice and we have never struggled to find exactly what we are looking for.

The best Garden Centre of all, although it is much more than a garden centre. There are many other shops such as Pavers and Cotton Traders, and many departments within the garden centre including a wide ranging gift department. There is also an excellent restaurant and a food store.You really need
We always enjoy an outing to gates. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and lovely views. The food is lovely, we had sandwiches that came with side salad and crisps.
We bought a few plants too, which were very healthy and a good size.
Christmas time is a wonderful time to visit as the decorations

Visited here recently. There are so many lovely shops to look round and the farm shop has an amazing variety of food.
All staff were friendly and polite.

A very enjoyable few hours out. Typical arden Centre prices as they all are... Still if you enjoy garden centres it's absolutely great to have a look and get some gardening and house inspiration. Defently go leading up to Christmas as it will really put you in the festive spirit.
Love this place. We usually do a before and after Christmas shop, but this year Gates decided to do an autumn theme. It wasn't quite set up when we got there but I still managed to buy plenty. I went with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped for a very nice lunch

Fantastic food, lovely and friendly staff. Technologically advanced too; you can order your food via your mobile phone if you want! Great Garden centre too and the indoor marketplace is amazing (especially at Christmas!)
