I went in at 6.30 on a Friday night. I was met by friendly and efficient staff. It was already starting to get busy. Both my starter and main course were delicious and beautifully cooked. The house red wine was a delight as was the double espresso to finish. I would thoroughly recommend.

We went for dinner on valentines day, a warm welcome and then the food, was really tasty. My wife had a cocktail as well a cosmopolitan which she said was strong and perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We're in Oakham for a three week holiday and this is definitely the best restaurant we've been to. The food was amazing - well prepared and presented, very tasty, just the right portion sizes. The staff were very attentive, the floor manager has a personality all his own! Atmosphere was a little on the noisy side but I generally expect that at an Italian restaurant. We were a party of three, without a reservation, and we were all very impressed.
Lovely food and not too badly priced. Nicely designed layout. Went on weekday night in January so quite quiet. Would go there again

We visited San Giorgio over a busy weekend when Global Birdfair was taking place in Oakham, taking our team of 10 to the restaurant.
Despite the restaurant being packed, throughout the evening Raffaele and his team really looked after us, and everyone had a great time – the food was also fantastic.
I’d highly recommend and hopefully we’ll be back in the future when we’re at another Birdfair!
Excellent pizza and wine, kitchen was about to close when we arrived but we were welcomed and enjoyed a lovely meal.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, great staff, authentic Italian food and excellent value money.
Sat 8.15pm table booked but unable to be seated until 8.35, had to wait until someone left. Not as bad as it sounds... it was a pleasant wait, with staff being very apologetic.
Once seated and our food arrived... it was divine. Really really good.. I had the sea-scallops for starters and the Linguine, both dishes were superb. We will definitely visit San Giorgio in the future .
I knocked a star off because of the wait.

We love it here because we are treated like family. The food is always fresh, well balanced and tasty. 'The Boss' provides a level of entertainment that makes the atmosphere fun for the monsters (kids) that seem to follow my wife and l when we nip out.
