A hidden gem. It’s not a cafe, it’s a lovely tearoom inside the castle hall. The cherry Bakewell is to die for. Highly recommend for a refreshing cup of tea delivered with a friendly smile.

My family and I ate here for lunch during our holidays, we are from Holland. And we still dream and talk about this place! The food was so good, we truly did not expect a café to make such good food! The interior is cute and the service was excellent. We will come back if we are in town!!!
Lightning really does strike twice, always a great warm friendly welcome at the Castle Cottage Cafe by Steve and his staff. Now in terms of the food you know when you go to some places to eat they struggle to repeat their feats of good food on a consistent basis.
