Sunday lunch for two. Excellent staff, friendly, polite. Service quick despite very full restaurant. The roast beef lunch exceptional. Very large portions and the apple crumble dessert out of this world. Price very fair offset against the service/food provided. Would thoroughly recommend

Absolutely stunning place really friendly staff and fantastic food, and great history to it.
The only very small complaint was the chips had a little bit too much salt on them. Although I didn't have the Sunday roast a family member did it

Went here for lunch with a friend and it was fantastic. Huge portions with no sacrifice on quality. The vegetarian roast looked epic and the quinoa salad was delicious. Service was good too and it's a very cosy place to sit.
