Really lovely little place to stop. Very friendly staff, good coffee and food. Limited menu, but it's only a little place, so I wouldn't expect any different, but all good quality. It's also pet friendly.The village itself is also beautiful and the castle just behind the cafe is also worth a look.

Popped in to dodge the never ending showers. We were greeted with a warm welcome and Lola the dog was delighted to see that they stock ice cream especially for fur babies. My wife had a lovely carrot cake my son had the cheese scone followed by brownie. All washed down with some very nice coffees. A

2nd Visit to this hidden gem both with my cycling club. Not only is the hospitality on a different level but, the coffee and food is exceptional. Not to mention, run by a cyclist to. Well worth the visit.

We stopped to visit the castle and found this great cafe. The staff we very friendly and the food was excellent. I had a cheese ploughman's which came with a fresh cheese scone.
