Lovely friendly place to have a drink , mixture of alcoholic drinks for anyone , even non alcoholic drinks a wide selection staff and owners are lovely .

Nice pub, friendly staff, good beer. Benches out the front and a AstroTurf beer garden at the back. Car park is at the back too. Pool table, beer, food etc. Enjoy.
Absolutely beautiful homemade kebab basket meal, local sourced meat, choose your sauces and away you go. Can’t go wrong with this one 👍

Under newish management who seem to be making a real effort. Beers well looked after and carefully served, good live bands most weekends. Haven't tried the food but if the attitude of the management prevails it will be good. Recommended
Called in for a quick drink and the food smelt sooo good we had our Sunday roast there. Absolutely the best roast beef dinner we have had. Fantastic meal. I will not cook Sunday roast at home again. At that price I would mad...

Had a fabulous time today at the Anker. This is our 2nd visit. They are a very dog friendly pub. So much so that the allowed us to celebrate Scooby's birthday (Jack Russell), Maizey his mate joined in the celebration. The food was great and we were offered a warm welcome.
At last a pub with a good selection of ales, bar food looks nice also a good choice, will definitely go back to try the food, staff and other customers very friendly
went into this pub just after they re opened. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Covid restrictions in place and well thought out. Looking forward to them re opening again.
