I have been a frequent visitor to Ego Cedar Tree Nuneaton, and I must say that the restaurant consistently delivers a positive dining experience. The atmosphere at Ego Cedar Tree is always inviting and pleasant, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. One aspect that stands out is the excellent service provided by the staff. The waiters and waitresses are attentive and friendly, ensuring that you feel welcome and well taken care of throughout your visit. Their professionalism and efficiency contribute to a positive overall experience. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that Ego Cedar Tree offers a dedicated vegetarian menu. While the options available are decent, I do believe there is room for improvement. During my recent visit, I tried the tofu grill, which was well-presented but unfortunately slightly under-flavored. Enhancing the seasoning and taste of vegetarian dishes would elevate the dining experience for vegetarian patrons like myself. It would also be nice to see a few more options on the vegetarian menu to cater to different tastes and preferences. Expanding the selection of vegetarian dishes would be a welcome addition for those seeking more variety in their dining choices. Despite these minor points of improvement, I can confidently say that I will always go back to Ego Cedar Tree Nuneaton. The ambiance and service create a warm and enjoyable dining environment, and I have had many pleasant moments shared with friends and family at this restaurant.

One of the better places to eat at in Nuneaton. Enjoyed a lovely meal here. Mediterranean food with some great dishes. Moroccan lamb, and chicken and chorizo paella, both great. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and attentive staff.

Lovely food and atmosphere, good choice of drinks too. Really nice to have a restaurant like this in Nuneaton as it can be pretty limited sometimes. We go here quite regularly and would always recommend. There are a couple of points to mention though. When it comes to the kids meals they have a younger kids and an older kids menu. Good choices and good food but the pricing doesn't make sense to me. We often order the kids make-your-own pizza. The portions are identical but we're charged one under 5 price and one over 5 price for the same quantity of food. Regardless of age, if the portions are the same size the price should match in my opinion. One other point which puzzled me too - some of the staff were polishing cutlery right by the serving hatch. It lasted about 15-20 minutes and each item was thrown/dropped into the containers. The repetitive clanging of cutlery during a busy dinner service just seemed out of place. There must be a better time or place to do this task away from diners. It definitely affected the atmosphere as we were seated nearby.

Nipped for a quick lunch. Nice atmosphere, service was excellent and the food was good. The steak and ale pie was nicely flavoured, mashed potatoes were spot on but the seasonal veg a little uncooked for my taste. Overall a great experience

Baby shower. Had an amazing time here today. We chose afternoon tea for 16 guests. We were lucky enough to have an area to ourselves, which made it even more special. The food was delicious and the staff were very warm and welcoming. The manageress was really accommodating and made us feel really welcome. I would highly recommend Ego for any occasion.

We (a party of 6 + 2 infants and 1 baby) visited last week for a pre Christmas gathering. We were seated together, and the staff were very pleasant. We didn't feel neglected and drinks were flowing smoothly.

Lovely large spacious bar restaurant. Few problems, I arrived a little early so decided to have a drink while I waited to be seated, having popped outside for a cigarette returned to find my drink had been taken by over zealous bar staff. Gents toilet in restaurant area had leaking urinal, which was smelly and unsightly in otherwise clean and well maintained toilet. On the plus side the meal was delicious! Steak cooked to perfection! Well presented, and little or no waiting time between courses. Waiting staff attentive and pleasant. Overall a nice evening.

The menu is well designed to provide variety of choices starting from starters, mains and desserts.

Went to Ego in Kenilworth first, really liked it so we thought we'll give the Nuneaton one a go. What a good idea it was! Very nice staff and the food was delicious! The have various offers (fixed price menu, lunch menu etc) and something for everyone. The place looks really nice too.

Visit here was almost perfect. Only negatives were it a little loud with kitchen and bar clammering and overall guest's discussions taking place as well as the lack of diversity in the clientèle and staff. The positives were the food was delicious, well presented and filling. The toilet stalls, though a bit small, we're very clean. The scented hand soap and lotion was a nice touch. You can always tell a lovely establishment by the cleanliness of its kitchen and bathrooms particularly and then it's overall furnishings and floors. Even the men's room was clean! We ordered two soft drinks, the lemon chicken escalope which came with a sweet and sour dressed rocket and sung blushed tomato salad (the salad made the meal) and chips. It was so delicious and filling. We also had the mixed kebab (chicken, chorizo, lamb, and steak) which comes on a large metal skewer alternating meat with red onions, courgettes, and peppers. It's plated with a mixed salad and tortillas. Although this wasn't my meal, I sampled a bit and again was very tasty. Everything cooked very well. My guest has a shellfish allergy, so everything had to be cooked separately. The staff communicated this to each other quickly and efficiently to the kitchen. They checked on us, but not annoyingly so; yet, were attentive to us when required. We left a tip! As I've eaten here previously, I would also recommend the calamari, sea bass, and carbonara. Parking is great, though the restaurant was fairly full, we were able to park near the door. All in all, a beautiful night out in Nuneaton.

It was a family gathering to celebrate my mother's significant birthday. We all thought that we were well cared for watered and fed. Cocktails, mocktails and sangria went down well. My negroni x 2 were very nice. Starters mains and desserts all very enjoyable. So if you are wanting a big get together, I can recommend EGO

Celebrating our anniversary with the kids. Warm welcome and delicious food. The atmosphere was fantastic and the decor is gorgeous. The kids enjoyed making their own pizzas and I would definitely recommend the morrocan lamb!
