Out of this world Excellent food 10/10 … couldn’t fault the food soo tasty… fresh and arrived hot one of the best meals I’ve ever had… If you want a nice meal I’d certainly book in here !!!
I hadn’t been for a long time. It’s new decor & refurbishment gives it the perfect ambiance. The welcome was warm, the service quick and the food was lovely. Thank you very much for a wonderful mother & daughter lunch.
Amazing all you can eat buffet on Saturday.
I would come back and highly recommend 😬 5stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Good sized carpark. Large well decorated restaurant. There are plenty of tables. Good cooked food, especially suitable if you like spicy food. All you can eat is Aisan food, including starter, main, and desert. The chips/fries were very tasty. Also offer carvery lunch that I need to try.
Got there for start of carvery food was nice and hot and very tasty and plentiful for price.
The reason I only gave four stars was with there being steps up to different parts of the restaurant it is not disability friendly!! as my wife uses a walking frame access to toilets would be impossible.
We visited The Fuzzy Duck for an evening meal and chose to try the Indian Banquet.
All of the food that we sampled was good, the restaurant itself is well presented and the staff are friendly.
I'd have scored higher had there been more variety, there were very few vegetarian options and if you don't like chicken there was only one other meat option. There were also very limited options for deserts.
Came here as a birthday meal, party of 4. There wasn’t many staff on a Saturday night and no direct help at the door for where the main restaurant was. I was a bit disappointed at the beginning with the service as the man didn’t seem to quite know what he was doing and considering we were new customers made it even more confusing for us. However the food was brilliant not a long wait at all, drinks were delicious and even the biscoff espresso martini knocked me off my feet.
Fantastic! Best Sunday roast dinner around the location. Large quality portions, no space for crumble with vanilla custard which looked equally tempting.
Went again today 2021-11-07. Added more photos. So good. Quality and Taste is as good as ever - excellent.
Me and my wife came here for an Indian buffet. The food is much, much nicer than I expected it to be. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Highly recommended!
Duzzy?! I love pretentiousness and the Fuzzy Duck does try hard to be elegant and sophisticated. It succeeds for the most part with attention to detail in its plush new interior.
I love the piano in the centre of the naturally well lit dining area.
Service is both down to earth and professional. Seating is comfy and relaxing. The dining area does soon get packed out with various demographs. The most common individuals were middle aged ladies looking for something a bit more upmarket.
More upmarket is where The Fuzzy Duck is well placed. The main menu selections all looked sensational, having a nose at what the waiters were delivering to the tables. My Hale was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Loved it, I loved the whole experience and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a more upmarket pub dining experience.
We enjoyed our experience at The Fuzzy Duck. A group of 4 and no one had any complaints about food as it felt high quality. Our only complaint was unfortunately with the service as we felt forgotten about once the mains had been served. We had to get the attention of a server to be offered any dessert and this was approximately 30 mins after the mains had ended. It was not easy to get their attention as they were making themselves busy resetting tables (which were not going to be used that evening due to the time). However, that was our only complaint and overall we were very happy. I personally would visit again for special occasions
Our 1st visit here as we were staying with friends in the area . Absolutely lovely. Staff friendly and attentive . Food was excellent..large portions so make sure you're really hungry before you arrive . Drinks were good and very competitive on price . Well worth a visit and we will be back .
So I'd like to say I'd like to visit this place in a less hectic time. We visited today for Christmas Dinner.
Was for me and my wife.
£80 per person x3 courses.
( No problem paying this on Christmas day poor sods working because we're too lazy to cook for ourselves)
The food was bang on. The beef was cooked with perfection.
Camembert starter was brilliant too.
Food was basically faultless. The venue and decor are fantastic.
Unfortunately what was a let down was the all round service.
We were late seated after turning up well in advance.
The waiting time between course's was very, very frustrating. We was there for 2hrs 30 mins
We were asked by a member of staff if we were waiting for something. ( we were waiting for our pudding )
The service from staff was inconsistent. We weren't sure how to order drinks ( go to bar or ask staff )
I think much organising and service improvements are needed ( maybe being Christmas day was more challenging than normal. So I'm more forgiving )
On the way out we asked if they were OK to serve us a drink. ( Baring in mind a good selection of customers only being served their main we fancied a swift one before leaving )
The answer we were met with was errrrrrrm no not really.
We were disappointed as we wanted to try one of the visually appealing cocktails.
It's a place we'd love to visit in normal circumstances to get a better judgement for sure.
We had the Christmas meal here, it was very pleasant and the wait wasn't bad at all. Only criticism is the starter just wasn't big enough, in fact it was just tiny. The main was to die for I had the turkey and it had a healthy portion of gravy! Pudding was lemon tart, and surprisingly triple the size of the starter, it was absolutely lovely. Our waiter was David and he was rather helpful. Hands down best thing about this gaff is the cocktails, they are amazing!! I recommend the raspberry mojito.
