first time here tonight.26 August 23. lovely food, nice service quiet when was there but by the time of leaving it was picking up will definitely come here again.. our new restaurant to go to.... I've passed here 100s of times looked and I thought I'll go one day..Yes, do try.
Food is best in area with out question. Staff are friendly professional and keen to serve. Portions are just right
Food is really tasty and well portioned and the staff i interacted with was very helpful and pleasant. However, I think it is a bit too pricy.

The outside could have a little more tlc being done on the property. The entrance/front door could be more lit and cleared of plants etc, getting a power washer on the entrance area would improve it greatly.
The food was good and at a reasonable price, the actual menu was too large physically. It could be done with being smaller and more compact.
A suggestion on the drinks menu would be to have a better selection of wine by the glass. There was only one type for both red/white wine.
Where there are options to have a bottle, which isn't house wine. Someone who is only having one glass would prefer better options.
A hidden gem. Food is out of this world. Sadly the restaurant is very under used as only one other table was in use at 6:30pm on a weekday. As for the food, I cannot praise the Spinach Dumplings enough, they were fantastic, as was the main course and the side dishes. Have to remember this place next time I'm up here.
Honestly when I saw it from the outside it looks very boring and bland, it's in a closed place, but when we went in it was so much bigger than I thought! It was the best Indian restaurant I have been to!! The waiters were amazing so polite the best service I've had, the food was so nice! I honestly strongly recommend, very spacious, clean and table set up beautifully ππππ

Good food, however, considering it was only filled to about 25% capacity, they seated my wife and I right next to a table of loud mouths that would rather shout than talk and interspersed every other word with f##K, which spoilt the evening somewhat.... π
After having the trauma of a continuous carvery issue, the boyfriend and i decided to go to Amid Place, like previous reviews have said on the exterior of the building, looks dated and needs some tlc, the interior is very authentic and very well layed out, the waiter was very pleasant and approached us with a smile, we were the only ones in the restaurant (hence the one star, it was peaceful) food and drinks were ordered and with a nice flow, drinks came just before the starter came, very nice poppadoms, and a nice simple selection of chuctneys and dressings for the palette. I had a Lamb Saggwala (my go to curry) boyfriend had a Lamb Rogan Josh both very good quality, both had some bits to share also, all in all if your looking a lovely indian nearby Nuneaton, Amid Place is the go to, after 7 seems to be key if you like a nice quiet evening too π π
