A lovely café in the heart of the lovely Lace Market. The staff welcomed me with a friendly smile and a lovely attitude, and asked my what i would like to order. I ordered a Bueno shake, which was amazing, a croissant filled with smoky cheese (which was hands down the best croissant I've had during my 2 years of staying in the UK) and a chocolate cake which was also great. I then decided to stay in and went upstairs and let me just tell you, the decor, the ambience, the seating, the whole vibe of the café? Wow. Words can't describe it so if you're reading this, this is your sign to come try this café for yourself. Oh, and if you're a student like me, you get 10% off the menu. Overall? 5/5. This café just earned itself a new regular.

This is a lovely new coffee-lover's paradise in the centre of Nottingham. It's a little cramped downstairs, but seating upstairs is split between different rooms of sofa-led luxury and table-seating (for those with work to do). On my first visit just now I asked if their flat whites were nice and strong (how I like them). Just to be sure they served me an extra espresso shot on the side, for use if needed. As it happened I didn't need it, but added it anyway. The coffee was superb. And a little less pricey than some other high-end coffee places in town.

Saw this newly opened coffee shop. Coffee was really good and the biscoff donut was amazing! The interior and the staff were both warm and inviting! 10/10

New Coffee place in town. We saw it being done and thought the outside was going to be black. Nearly walked passed it because it had changed colour. They've made a good job on creating this lovely new coffee house. We had to go upstairs as it was busy downstairs. The stairs are very steep. But it's very nice once your up there. They have lounge seating in one room and table and chairs in another. Good luck guys and welcome to Notts. Will be back to try some food.

Excellent coffee, really nice ambience and plenty of space upstairs to hang out with friends. Plenty of plug sockets for phone chargers, laptops, etc. Great customer service - an excellent beginning for this new cafe.

This is the best cafe in Nottingham. They have a great tea selection and their jacket potatoes are absolutely delicious. Food and drink is at a very reasonable price. The service is also great - everyone is so smiley & happy. Vibe relaxed. 10/10!!!

Really good hot chocolate options for lactose intolerant people. Had a lotus cake that was lovely. And to top it off, staff are very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend

Wow what a place! Popped in today for lunch and so glad I did! The best dirty chai ever!! A beautiful place to unwind. I really hate getting my coffee from the big chains where the staff are grumpy and the coffee is mediocre, I will be back, thank you Barista Lab!

I ordered a bacon and egg brioche to eat in which came with a free flat white (or any other coffee) for £3.50. I did a double take after my first bite thinking I’d been undercharged - this was the nicest sandwich with well cooked scrambled eggs, pepper, thick cut bacon. And the coffee was delicious too. Absolute steal for the price and the service was excellent.

Extremely friendly and welcoming service from the guys behind the bar. Brilliant espresso (or cup of "liquid gold" as the guy called it). Lovely clean and quiet cafe setting, nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Would recommend, and will be going back for another coffee (and perhaps some food) in future, when I'm on that side of Notts

Me and my partner popped in for a milkshake and coffee, the staff are lovely and friendly and the strawberry and cream milkshake is one of the best I have had! We will definitely be popping back in the future.
