Spice Cay - Nottingham - Photo album

Nice little find. Good vibes, good music, friendly service. Only let-down was that some of the dishes were far too oily to enjoy and ended up being wasted as we didn't want to take it away either. Veggie tacos, stuffed peppers and plantain was good.
Decided to eat at Spice Cay today as it was too late for brunch. Listen ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ to ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ me. This could challenge your home town favourite Caribbean take away. We had the Roadtrip Escovitched Fish, Mac n cheese with two rices Seasoned Vegetable Rice and Rice & Peas. Finger licking good. My husband and I wer
We got 1 main dish each and then a few sides to share between 3 and that was more than enough! Would definitely recommend the taco doubles they were huge and really tasty. Plantain was cooked perfectly and would also recommend the chickpea curry. Great veggie options!
Very nice food, been a few times. Bit expensive for the small amount you get but it is a tabas. Enjoy the food every time I go the ox tail is beautiful. Not good if you have motbility peroblam has. Toilets are up alot of steps, I had to go to the pub next Door to use there's
Been meaning to try this place for a while and wish I hadn't waited so long. The food is absolutely divine. I had the curried goat (the meat was cooked on the bone just how I like it so you get the rich flavour from the bone marrow), stuffed peppers with sweet potato curry and the salt fish fritters
Went out for a lunch for two at the newest Caribbean joint in town. This one is actually a restaurant located in the heart of the city and at last it seems that we have a potentially superb black-owned eatery in Nottingham! It seems that the progressive way forward with eating out Caribbean is tapas
What a truly wonderful experience from arrival at the restaurant to departure The restaurant had a great buzz and the decor and music matched the Caribbean theme. Staff were extremely friendly and competent. We were kept updated at all times and wait times were minimal especially given all the food
The food and flavours were amazing, Iโ€™ve not had much jerk chicken before but the flavours in this one were awesome highly recommend it and reasonably priced. Will definitely be trying the other dishes from here and the patty was nice.
Food was absolutely delicious & very authentic. We had the goat curry, oxtail ,prawns, friend plantain with rice & peas would highly recommend all! 2 for 1 Cocktails were such good value (2 for ยฃ9) and very nice. Lovely atmosphere & great music.
Lovely place. Our waitress Amy was very attentive and provided a friendly and personal experience. Food was as amazing, curried goat well worth a try. Would definitely recommend.
Just had a wonderful Caribbean tapas here. Walked by seen the menu and had to try - so glad I did! People of Nottingham keep this wonderful place going and try it! We'll definitely go again
Came here for my birthday with family and we were blown by the quality of food. The chef kindly modified one of our dishes to make our experience that much more enjoyable. The interior and menu is on-brand being colourful and fun. We cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. The staff w
Finally an authentic Carribbean restaurant in the city centre. Small plate dining, with no restriction on flavour. We visited Saturday night, and had the pleasure of good music to match good food. Service was brilliant. Really hope this place continues to do well, it's a little gem.
I could give 10 stars for service. The food was awesome abs it looks like they've got an excellent chef. I tried the jerk chicken in some amazing sauce and the curry goat๐Ÿ˜‹. I can go on and on about the cocktails ๐Ÿคฉ. Definitely going back. Highly recommended
Very friendly staff and nice vibe! Wings and jerk chicken were really good but plantain was a bit dry. I also really liked the curry goat.
