Enjoyed meeting family and friends. Really nice pub the staff are very welcoming and polite. Had a chat with the landlord he was really nice.
Fantastic pint of John Smiths, in a reasonable price range (£3.50). Atmosphere was excellent will be popping in when im down this neck of the woods again.
My new local!! Ryan and Courtney have done a brilliant job on the pub making it a family friendly pub.Great prices for drinks. They always have something going on every month which is amazing. Keep up the good work can’t wait for the food in the future!

Such a good atmosphere everyone’s friendly in there. A real local pub. Very respectful to neighbours with noise. Courtney and Ryan are doing an amazing job running the abbey, couldn’t ask for a better landlady and landlord.
Very friendly landlord and landlady lots of choices of drinks bingo night is fun , lots of entertainment for the new year a lovely function room up stairs all been done up very nice .

The new management have made a brilliant job of the pub. Great new outside area and huge selection of drinks catering for everyone. The events and artists so far have been brilliant 👏
Very nice staff, and the decor is acceptable, I believe it is under quite new management, but so far they are making progress. Its a shame they are not open at lunchtimes, but supply and demand are responsible for this. The prices are also acceptable.

Only visited the upstairs function room, although it was a nice room with its own bar it wouldn't be an acceptable room for a large gathering.
Friendly and a fantastic place to go to great entertainment and great landlord and landlady friendly environment with a nice beer garden at the back and front and pet friendly lovely place to go too
Lovely local pub run by a local couple, atmosphere and upkeep of the place has drastically improved since then taking over a few months ago. Definitely worth popping in for a pint
Great bar and a good atmosphere and busier than the last time i was in there and now under new management and getting busy now the hot weather is here. Can relax in there beer garden
