All round 5 Stars. I would give 10 Stars to this restaurant, if I could. The set up is modern and relaxing. The food is amazing and good portion sizes. But this food is tasty and the aubergine fries is out of this world. We had about 5 different tapas for starters and a paella for mains, to share with my wife, each and every one of them was delicious. They do 2.4.1 cocktails and I recommend Sophie passion.
Great services from the waitress and the owner. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary and we could of not chosen a better venue to go to. The manger interacts with all his customers, explaining the various Tapas and a very friendly atmosphere to be in.
Recommend if you fave a group of friends and want to chat and enjoy yourself, this is the place to go.
Will be going again for sure, but with family and friends. Thank you for a great night, an Anniversary to be remembered. ππ₯°
Walking around town on a Saturday evening, we took a chance to see if we could get a table. They found us a table even though they were fully booked. Service was promall staff were friendly and attentive.
We ordered an array of items from the menu, and every single one was delicious. Highly recommend. π
Wow, what an amazing Spanish hideaway away from the hustle and bustle too. Called in without a reservation as we seem to do everywhere. Made the effort to give us a table as they were really busy. The staff were fab, smiling, attentive and actually look happy doing their work. Didn't wait long foe the food and wasn't disappointed either. We chose five from the tapas menu and some breads. Can't remember the name of all we orders but I do recommend the prawns in garlic, check out the pic and tell me it doesn't make you salivate. Strongly recommend this restaurant, would be a lovely place for a date for special occasion. Ty for accommodating us.
Went for a belated birthday family meal there tonight after seeing it on google maps a short while back and it was an awesome experience - amazing , authentic Spanish food and really great staff. Added bonus of getting to practice Spanish with them too! Will definitely be back! π₯ππΌ
Very friendly staff and the food was completely amazing! I can't recommend this place enough. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!
Wonderful atmosphere , with wonderful food, fabulous service and great value would always recommend .
Very nice. Food and wine all great! I always think patatas bravas is a bit dull but these were fluffy and crispy. Squid ink paella was good too. All a tiny bit saltier than I expected. The space is a bit noisy, maybe a lack of soft furnishings. I'll go again though good food, attentive service.
Fantastic Tapas restaurant in the Lace Market area in Nottingham. Amazing food and the ink 'laced' paella is delicious. Fabulous setting in a renovated brick building and tastefully decorated to match the food.
Excellent personal service second to none.Vincent is proud of what he has in this restaurant and it shines through in his enthusiasm.
I will definitely go back and it was worth the trip from Liverpool. I would highly recommend you give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
We'd heard good things about ViDa but, to be honest, because of its slightly tucked-away location we were expecting it to be quieter than it was on the Friday night we went. However when we rocked up, without a reservation, almost every table was full. Luckily they were able to fit us in without a wait. Even had there been a wait though it would've been worth it.
We chose five tapas dishes between two of us. The croquettes that arrived first were round and filled with delicious meat and fluffy potato and the king prawns that were next were plump and perfectly cooked in a lovely white wine and garlic sauce. Next were wonderfully-crunchy cauliflower florets in a light batter and piquant sauce before the huevos fotos - fried potatoes mixed with black pudding and topped with a fried egg. The last dish to arrive was a melt-in-the-mouth pork cheek in a fantistic rich but sweet gravy.
Service was good and the drinks we had (a sherry, wine and beer) were all nice too. At just over Β£60 for the pair of us it wasn't super cheap however the quality of the food was up there with any of Nottingham's other tapas restaurants.
Now we know about ViDa I'm sure we'll visit again. Though we'll probably book ahead next time!
Discovered this gem on Google maps and I'm so glad we did! It's underground and dimly lit with exposed brickwork which gives the place a an intimate atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The mushroom croquettes and the fried octopus were the best I've ever tasted, though all the food was flavorful. The house red wine was very nice and served at the right temperature. Overall I couldn't fault the place, we had a great night and will definitely be returning.
