Amazing new restaurant in the heart of Nottingham serving Delhi-style street food and live-fire Indian grilled meat and fish. 10/10 can't recommend highly enough. Fun drinks and cocktail selection as well

Beautiful Indian food. Seems to be a joint venture with the adjacent Red Dog bar and grill. But I had a really nicely cooked Laal Mass and Pilau Rice. Plenty of fresh ingredients visible in the food, nice balance of flavours and tender lamb. Very flavoursome spiced kulfi for desert. Things must have improved since previous reviews because non of the food was excessively salty and the waitress wrote my order down and got it all correct! Only two staff serving in both sides of the restaurant, which wasn’t an issue on a quiet mid-week lunch, but I hope they put more on during busier times. Otherwise that 5% service charge might seem like a leap too far! It wasn’t cheap, nothing that labels itself street food or tapas is these days. But my food was lovely and I can’t fault the service, so five stars!

Really great food , tasty and authentic. Have now be here 4 times and each time food was great , very much a true Indian styled food. The alloo tiki, kebab roll, panni purri are amongs the best starters , the food on the grill is great but the best is the curries. The lamb is to die for; wonderful just like my dad used to make it ( except they make it boneless). The other curries are great too , even the black dall is authentic and tasty. Definitely recommend a visit , a very nice place with very helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble.

If you like Indian food then this place is perfect. It sells Indian street food. You can sit in or have a takeaway but the food is great either way. They do nice vegan food, I love the Masala Chai to drink and the banana pancakes are great.

Went with a group of friends and absolutely loved it, used to be a customer of other indian style restaurants in Nottingham and cant even compare with Burra-khana food quality. Absolutely loved it, will be returning very soon. Must try 'lasuni tikka' and 'lamb chops'!

Best Part of Burra-Khana is the ambience, food is top notch . I enjoyed kebabs and Kati Roll. I’m sad they are not delivering anymore. First thing I wanna do after lockdown ends is to visit Burra-Khana every weekend. Missing the Chicken tikka anda Kati roll 😕
