We order here every month for the past 2.5 years and can easily say that it’s our favourite Indian takeaway. Sometimes the food does take a while to come however it is worth the wait! One thing I will say is that the new cardboard box packaging for the chips makes them go soggy and makes them taste like cardboard! They tasted much better when they came in a paper bag! Other than that all the other food items tasted perfect
You know what. With such a long wait in delivery times (around 2.5hrs), I was ready to come here and leave a low review.
But after talking to what is probably the friendliest delivery driver I’ve ever spoken too and tasted the still piping hot dishes I can only compliment the food. Really tasty. Well done.
I can’t give a full 5 stars due to the delivery waiting time but it’s a well deserved high 4*. Credit to the restaurant 👏👏

Order arrived before estimated delivery time, still hot and delicious.
Not sure where all the bad comments are coming from here, but taking to consideration that most of them were placed by 1-review-only profiles, glad we did not take these seriously.

I had the vegan mixed vegetable rice and it was amazing best rice I’ve ever had easily. Also had vegetable samosa and meat samosa and both absolutely delicious, lots of fillings nice and crispy edges. No complaints about this place been going years :)

Food was very nice although it took some time to get to us we are based about 45 min away but took longer than that the food was gorgeous very filling would order again but I would order it a hour before we acc wanted it the driver was very nice and very polite

Very nice food, dahl was delicious. Proper samosas. Best takeaway I've had for a while. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it. I will be ordering again.

I was staying near East Midlands Airport and found this Indian on Just Eats as they were delivering. I was concerned about the poor reviews on this site so spoke to the owner prior to ordering for reassurance. The other bad reviews should questioned!
I chose from their vegan menu which was refreshing to see. Bombay potatoes, mushroom rice and garlic tandoori bread. It was all delicious and delivery was on time. The food was madras heat which was fine for me but you might prefer to ask for something milder if this is the default heat. You can check out many reviews on other platforms if you're still not 100% sure but from me a seasoned lover of Indian food I give them my full blessing!
Order was well presented. Arrived 10 minutes earlier! Food arrived piping hot and the meat was nice and tender. Will definitely be coming back to shama! 😍 their lamb dum biryani is a must!
I finished work late tonight and I wasn’t sure if I could order anything. I decided to go try Shama as i saw it pop up a couple of times. Ordered with 10 minutes to closing and was delivered within the space of 30 minutes.
I ordered 3 dishes and a naan and all came pipping hot. They were even kind enough to put an extra naan in. My favourite dish was definitely the Paneer Sabzi. All food was flavourful bare in mind the short time I ordered it in.
Definitely going to be ordering again.
