Epitomises nottingham’s new found confidence and creativity. Chocolate without any milk fats or oil is like in the 90s when I discovered coffee wasn’t maxwell house and Nescafé. The Papua New Guinean blows your mind with earthy mushroom notes.

I love Luisa’s chocolate. I’d never had 100% before and absolutely love her bars. Have tried other makes now but none are a patch on Luisa’s. My daughter adores the honeycomb chocolate.

Super delicious. I was served by a gentleman who kindly let me try quite a few vegan chocolates (even though it was breakfast time lol!). Try the cashew one- it’s so good! I don’t even like white chocolate usually but the passion fruit white is yummy and I can’t wait to taste the malted chocolate later (it is only 10am after all!!!) they retail in Selfridges too but likely costs more. I paid £3.10 per bar. The bars aren’t huge but the quality is! And there are pictures showing where the ethically sourced cocoa is coming from.

Absolutely delicious vegan Chocolate from such a lovely business, local to me too which makes it even better. The Passionfruit bar surely deserves a " Taste " Award as it is literally the best thing I've ever tasted. I first tried it from Selfridges and thought - I need more of this! I popped in yesterday and had a lovely chat to Luisa. How many places can you go and talk to the chocolate maker directly? The whole story behind the business, creating delicious bean to bar chocolate ethically produced with more than fair prices to the producers, is just wonderful. Luisa's Vegan Chocolate is the epitome of what small business is all about .

We did the Ultimate Bean to Bar experience and what a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We had a great time tasting the different chocolate on offer and being taken through the whole chocolate making process. Amazing knowledge and passion from Luisa and Martin and they were great company too, we had a lot of fun and the chocolate is the best! I would thoroughly recommend this activity!

I can't believe I haven't written a review already! Sorry Luisa! My partner and I have been coming here for our chocolate fix for around 2-3 years now. I bought her as a Christmas gift, the chocolate workshop which we attended yesterday. I learnt so much about chocolate that I had no idea about! It was fantastic to spend time with Luisa and all the staff, Martin especially was extremely knowledgeable about all things chocolate and it was easy to see the passion they all share about their products and ensuring the farmers they work with get a fair price. This alone is worth shopping here for and that's before we even mention the taste! I'm literally sat here eating some of the chocolate we made at the workshop yesterday as I write this and I've now learnt to really savour the flavour, snap a piece in half, sniff it, then pop it in your mouth and just let it melt on your tongue. It will change your chocolate experience believe me! Because this chocolate only has a few ingredients and has no nasties added, you can eat it guilt free knowing that not only is it good for your good bacteria, but it's good for your mental health too. Word of warning though, it is addictive!

I was looking for vegan coffee chocolate and found Luisa's Vegan Chocolates. I asked a friend who lives in Nottingham if they'd tried this business before, they had and told me it was amazing. I ordered some latte chocolate, it arrived today and it is absolutely incredible! I'll be buying more to stock up soon.

I was treated to a chocolate experience and wow it was so good. I got to eat so many luxurious varieties of chocolate and learn about the beans that made each one. I also got to see all of the stages the chocolate goes through to make these gorgeous chocolates as well as making my own chocolate bars to take home. All the time I was encouraged to ask questions of these clever chocolatiers.

Ethical, excellent and delicious , vegan chocolate! Luisa (the store owner) help us to pick the taste of bars and explained us how they make the chocolate ! It was an informative chocolate taste afternoon. We tried Louisa’s vegan ice cream and it was special and delicious . The thick layer of chocolate on the top make it unique . I really love this place and owner is an incredible talented and intelligent business woman who loves her job. Staff and service were excellent too. Keep up the good work !

I had a sample of Luisa's new Peruvian chocolate in the shop today before buying a bar. It is really delicious , intense, fuity and creamy , a great addition to her range of single origin chocolate.

Their chocolates are delicious and vegan. There's a good selection of chocolate bars and you can create your own custom boxes of chocolates with lots of flavours. The staff are great, friendly and enthusiastic What I like the most is their ethics, by dealing direct with the farmers they are getting great chocolate and the farmers are getting a decent income. The farmers can afford some of the things we take for granted, like being able to educate their children. Great shop, great chocolate.

Thank you so much for a fabulous and informative online chocolate tasting evening. Both Luisa and Isabella were an inspiration and I loved hearing about the amazing 'women in chocolate' throughout the supply chain. Luisa's business is ethical and sustainable, supporting women in farming in Colombia. I also loved Luisa's chocolate - so much so, that my partner and son have since purchased me some more products through Luisa's website for my birthday and Mother's Day. Can't wait to try them! We're so pleased to be supporting the craft chocolate movement - wishing Luisa lots of success going forward. Thank you :-)
