Tucked along this little street is this cosy fish and chips place. Just a good location for a stop to refuel after visiting the Nottingham castle.
There is ample seating outdoor. Menu includes different fish sizes with chips and various sauses according to one's taste and mushy peas. The price starts at £5.50 for the small set. The chips serving is very generous. It is chewy and well cooked.
The fish is above average with crispy batter. There are also burgers and kebab available. Give it a try if you're there!

Been coming here since 2021 and their service and environment has consistently been welcoming! The staff are incredibly friendly and always down for a good chat. They're the only place I go to for fish and chips (and I bring my friends here too!) very budget friendly and would always recommend them :)
Good value for money and a proper local, authentic "fish and chips" experience. Fresh and hot. Quite tasty and the portions are actually huge, so be prepared to get stuffed for the rest of the day if you fancy being fit. The chips are mostly soft, but some of them are also crispy, the mushy peas sauce is thick, the battered fish is delicious. All seasoned with salt and vinegar upon request. If you visit Nottinghamshire for a couple of days, this is by far in the top 10 places to out eat. Great location too, on the city's main pedestrian street with loads of pubs and clubs around. Open until 2 AM Sunday.
I was in Nottingham for 2 days in October, was unfamiliar with all the other food places so went here on both days. Did NOT regret it !
Friday night was a wonderful double cheeseburger, chips, and what I thought was a churro; while Saturday night was the doner kebab, which was also excellent!! Only regret was not getting to try the fish supper, the main selling point, as wasn't in town long enough.
Will be returning here if ever over this way again !
Not my first time eating here, I've always liked this chip shop. They do special offers and when it's good weather there is some outside seating.
Excellent quality food at reasonable prices. Lunch time menu worth a look too as far cheaper than other chippys in town. Portions not huge but still good value nonetheless. Also some outside space to sit and eat if you need it Would recommend.
Absolutely delicious, I would be buying from them every week day if they had delivery service. The best fish and chips I've ever eaten in east midlands

Lovely seating area outside where they serve your food on a plate with cutlery. 5 star hygiene rating, staff are super friendly too! What's not to like?

Very tasty. Filling and generous. Halal option. Quick service and welcomimg people. It has small limited seating area outside. Tried the fish and the hotdog, both were excellent.

Excellent fish and chips great value. Ask to eat at a table and they'll provide plates and cutlery. Can't go wrong here.

Cannot recommend this little hidden gem of a takeaway enough . Gorgeous , authentic food, quickly cooked, reasonably priced , staff are friendly and polite . Few tables to sit at outside if u fancy it . Will def be going back
