Great that you can get an instant coffee amongst all the lattes ,Americans etc! Delicious coconut cake and friendly staff too!

We visited the great Nottingham greasy spoons 5 minutes from Notts County football ground
This cafe is everything a cafe should be full of local people from all walks of life thoroughly enjoying well cooked food
This 2 roomed place has got a great organised staff and a well clean kitchen and eating areas
This place must be one of the best cafes in Nottingham

Visited last Saturday and had the best cheese omelette I’ve tried at a caf + yummy hash browns (think they’re home made?). Lovely ladies working there. My Dad wanted to buy a silly sausage mug and they kindly offered us one for free. Reasonable prices, friendly staff + good grub. Highly recommend.

Nice little cafe not far from Notts County football ground. Plenty of seating and hot and cold food available. Good fried breakfast and pleasant friendly staff. Well worth visiting.

The staff are very friendly.

I would recommend that:
If you are driving from LONDON ROAD do not gain access to the CATTLE MARKET through the first entrance on MEADOW LANE ( the surface and giant holes are horrendous), but travel around the outside of the CATTLE MARKET towards DALESIDE ROAD and take the second entry gate.
If you are travelling from DALESIDE ROAD, enter the CATTLE MARKET through the gate on the right hand.
You will find the SILLY SAUSAGE CAFE at the end of the road.

What a Fab place great staff good tea and old school cake
Good home style cooking and good value for money.
Gets busy at certain times of the morning and so staff rushed off their feet.
Friendly staff who can feed the greediest of trencherman.
Nor been for a few months but glad to see its has good now has it ever was. Friendly staff food fresh food and all at a good price. Well worth a visit
Hi there. I enjoyed the breakfast and the tea was lovely and hot. I do wish the young chap who was serving would smile just once or maybe he is not enjoying his job? A little smile goes a long way in this bleak world.
