Great venue.
You order drinks and food from your table.
It's very good table service.
They have some great acts on too.
Location is a bit of a walk out of town as parking nearby is a difficult.
As a small intimate venue it allows you to get close to the performers. Good sound. It is a good venue with very friendly staff. Great system for ordering drinks and food, table service. My only concerns were the performance we went to see started late so were left waiting for a while, but appreciate these things happen. Spent a lot on drinks whilst waiting so it would be good if the urinals in the men's toilet were actually in use. Long queues for the one cubical still in use. Please can this be sorted.
Our visit to The Glee Club was our first, and a late bit of inspiration for something to do on a Saturday night in Nottingham.
On arrival, the bartender was polishing the glass front doors, and apologised, (didn't need to as it was quite nice to see that the staff cared about the appearance of the venue) she stopped what she was doing and opened them both for us, and lead us in to a lovely bar area.
We had a speciality gin and ginger ale, which the bartender brought over to our table. She was very lovely, polite and chatty.
We queued to gain entry to the performance area, and although we booked tickets we couldn't book where we wanted to sit, so I spoke to the girl allocating seats/tables, and requested that we were not on the front row, to which she politely laughed and said "don't worry I've put you a few rows back"
We booked the tickets and a pizza deal. On sitting at our table, my partner asked me if I could ask a member of staff when the food would arrive, which I never got the chance to do, as the food arrived! The pizzas were very hot and very thin and crispy .......mmmm delicious.
We hadn't ordered any drinks with the food, and did so at the table using the bar app table QR code, and our drinks arrived 2....... yes, just TWO minutes later, phenomenal service.
The view of the stage was great, the compere was very good and the three comedians were amazing, they did their job, in that they were very funny.
We saw the bartender that had originally greeted us when we arrived at the club on the stairs as we were leaving, she smiled and said "have a goodnight" I told her "we had an fantastic time, thank you"
All in all, we couldn't recommend Nottingham Glee Club highly enough.
There are 3 car parks close by the venue. The Glee Club was very well presented, clean, tidy and cosy, the staff were all lovely, friendly and very helpful, the food and drinks were great and delivered to the table very promptly.
There is NOTHING The Glee Club Nottingham could have done better, our evening was superb. Well done, and a big "thankyou" to ALL of the staff who made us feel welcome, we will most definitely return.

Just got home after our second night at the Glee Club Nottingham. There really isn't anything else to add from my first review.
The staff must be your greatest asset, as they really make the night amazing, well done all at Glee Club.
Staff and service was brilliant, ordering via the QR code on the table is really easy and straightforward.
The food was great quality and a good price for what you received. Would definitely return!
I have been to Glee club 3 times twice for comedians once for a drag queen. This review is bases purely upon the facilities of Glee Nottingham not the performers.
All staff have been superb every time I have been. Zero complaints, I commend all the staff there.
One problem and it is a large one is the poor visabilty from some seats due to beams. These things happen and are necessary for large rooms like this. However some theaters use the seat layout to negate this issue Glee does not and could improve upon it.
The drinks while obviously marked up, I have no problem with this they have to make money and is expected for a venue like this. I will say the quality of drinks is poor. Poorly poured pints as pervasive.
The club is clean and wall maintanted but lacks either luxury or charm and fall short of building a unique environment and using the space the create an interesting ambiance.
It's got a large amount of potential but lacks the ability to live up to it. It does book acts worth seeing so you will go if you want to see that act.
All the staff are friendly and take the time to ask you how your night is going, the bar downstairs is really nice and has a chic look to it. The comedians on the night were great and engaged the audience with friendly and we'll pitched banter.
I love this venue! Always great acts and staff are great! Even the food and show deal was great, fish and chips really tasty before the show. Recommended getting in early to get to bar and get seated.
Good food, great sitting. Would go again. Not very cheap, but worth the laughs.
Had an absolutely great night here tonight at the Glee Club, watching Pick 'n' Mix!
Great staff, very organised and reasonably price drinks!
Lovely staff, great food and table service, top acts and great view of the stage.
Also very disability friendly.
Fantastic night out. The host and acts were comical and involved the audience. Food a little pricey but the Nachos were perfect. Friendly staff, I'll definitely be going again!
Lovely club, very clean, staff were quick and efficient. Comedy was good. Enjoyed the night a lot. Only downside was the prices of the drinks, captive audience and all that, but overall very good and would definitely recommend, and return.
Visited on Friday for a comedy evening, booking via Virgin Red as I used points for a free comedy evening for two adults. This wasn’t something we normally do, thus being my first time going to a comedy.
First of all, the venue is ideally located within the city, with both restaurants & bars being nearby. All the staff that I had interaction with were lovely, & full with smiles, clearly enjoying there jobs.
Unfortunately for the food it’s very average which lets everything down, I hear there used to be a cheap curry night, so maybe going for something like this again. Or better still, keeping to a select few items on a menu, & then executing them to a better standard.
Love this place! I've been a few times and seen the likes of Tom Stade and Tommy Tiernan have the room in stitches. Always a great vibe to the please and you're gaurenteed good time.
Went for a work Christmas night out, expected toned down and diluted jokes. Didn't get that for 2 out of 3 comics, the first two esprcially the second comic were great. Decent venue also and nice atmosphere, apart from that one drunk idiot you get at every show.
Good venue, we were in c42 quite near the stage with a good view. Acts were good the only downside was the quality of the food cheap and nasty but charge as premium. Drinks ok (avoid the wine) but again on the expensive side
