Great bar to go too for a drink, food looks very good value and all the staff are very friendly.
Lovely bar exceptional food and friendly staff couldn’t ask more off a castle rock pub
I work at TRCH and have to admit it's the best it's ever looked. Welcoming and friendly and open to anyone passing by. Recommend you take a visit and try the real ales etc ....
Popped in Sunday 4th March, very quiet but still nice, could have done with some back ground music because we could hear other diners slurping soup! Nicely refurbished and the windows add light! Will try the menu next time! Noticed jazz night advertised! Maybe will visit for this!
Popped in only for a pint of Pravha. It's delicious lager. Had to do some phone calls so grabbed my pint and sat outside in the garden. After an hour came back for one more.
Wow totally packed inside with people. Earlier only few tables were occupied. Generally I was positively impressed with atmosphere. Definitely will come back.
Castle rock brewery theatre bar, currently cashless, most incredible manager
Food was lovely and such reasonable prices
Not what I expected under the theatre.. if you like your ales it's a good place to be, but disappointed there was no Guinness.. I mean who doesn't serve Guinness on this day and age?
Staff here are always really helpful, even when there’s a busy theatre rush. Last week with about 20mins to go before the show they managed to cook us a fresh pizza in time. Lovely pizza too!
Good range of specialist and craft beers.
Nice and clean, situated between Theatre Royal and the Concert hall I feel it has no atmosphere that says you're within the theatre.
Always an excellent choice of beer on hand pump or craft from Castle Rock or Nottinghams smaller but just as good breweries. It can get busy before a show but it's never a problem.
It is still a nice place for a pint, varied craft ales and tasty snacks. Upstairs there is a terrace and few tables outside.
Great service friendly staff and a really clean place to sit and drink, it's situated at the theatre royal so it does have 15- 20 minute rush on if there's an interval from a show, but still worth a visit.
Good beers. Nice ambience but gets a bit hectic on concert/theatre night. Staff friendly enough. Nice for a quiet drink and snack during the day when you can watch the world whizz by from a comfy chair.
A vast improvement over the last time I was here. Seems that this place has been taken by Yarn, and thank god. Good food, great range of real ales, gins and nice wine. I would definitely go here again if attending another performance.
