This is a great pub. Called in at lunchtime for our first visit. It's very pleasant inside, warm and welcoming. Good selection of drinks. And nice light lunch choices. Minestrone soup was excellent. Full of vegetables and very hot. Then fish and chips which were really nicely cooked.

Nice friendly staff, warm welcome, Nice food, halloumi salad, hunters chicken, lasagne, few drinks and pot of tea. Sat at table 20 but it was very cold so after we'd eaten we moved up near the bar where the radiator was lovely and hot.

Had the mixed grill (£13.49) which they did cook the steak medium rare as requested + peppercorn sauce (£1.50), southern fried chicken chicken burger (£10.99) accompanied with mocktails (£2.25 each).

I like the style and the countryside pub design, the variety of drinks is quite good and the staf is quite friendly.

I've been coming here for a few years, and the atmosphere is always welcoming, relaxed, and chilled. The food consistently impresses with generous portions and authentic home-cooked flavors. The stew chicken is particularly amazing! I highly recommend it.
Great 'rustic feel', local pub. First meal we've had . Loaded nachos, louisiana style chicken strips for starters followed by hunter's chicken and beef & ale pie .
Served hot and quick , we went early afternoon, and cooked to perfection.

This pub is perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends or for grabbing a drink while watching sports. The food is both delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend it.
