The Beef pho and Vietnamese coffee were simply amazing. Lemon iced tea was slightly on the bland side but that might just be my preference. The cafe has a comfortable atmosphere as well. Definitely coming back.
• The bbq beef vermicelli (bún thit nuóng) had some really tough meat, wasn’t sure if it should be cold or hot as it came partially cold and warm. But I liked the combination of everything, the chilli garlic sauce was really good.
• I would recommend the beef phó. The meat was so tender! The soup was good and authentic. Price was just right for a student.
Will return!
This place is amazing! The food, the coffee, the service and the atmosphere is so lovely! I would highly recommend it!
Very cute tiny place for food and drink, we just had tea but everything on the menu seemed nice and of good value. Very friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.
So happy that I found this little gem 😍 Really friendly staff, and lovely little menu! Had a chicken pho, and a cappuccino - will definitely return again! ☺️
Best Vietnamese food in town with very reasonable price, would love to go there every week
Very good and tasty food! Could have a bit more variety
Delicious food, great prices. Have a banh mii or five! The pho looks delicious and excited to try it next time.
This place is a hidden gem.
Food: full of flavour! A small menu that has vegetarian/vegan options. Think the small menu is great as they focus on doing each dish perfectly.
Atmosphere: Chilled music playing in the background with its cozy cafe décor. It is fairly quiet but that's something I loved. Perfect for reading a book or having a relaxing lunch with a friend. Very clean and tidy.
Customer service: Amazing! It is cash only but they directed me to the nearest cash point, and offered to take my order so that it would be ready for when I returned. Super polite and friendly. Be prepared to want to leave a tip because they are that welcoming.
I know I'm going to be a regular here from now on.
Nice little cafe and restaurant. They have a very small menu but we were pleased to see vegetarian and gluten free options because they noodles they use are rice noodles. The portion sizes were great and very generous. Only thing I would say is that the food took a long time to come.
Delightful little bit of Vietnam in Nottingham. Lovely Vietnamese teas, coffee and soft drinks. There’s a limited menu of street food style dishes that all look just perfect! Very popular with the Vietnamese/SE Asian community. A few things to note: firstly, it’s cash only. Secondly, this is a small, intimate Vietnamese cafe not a family dining restaurant. Don’t turn up asking for tables of 8 or demanding a children’s menu or trying to ram a pushchair through the doorway. It’s a small intimate space with a handful of tables and a window bar. That being said, it’s beautiful and I’m sure it will become one of my regular spots.
Great vietnamese food! Limited menu but very tasty.
Small menu which I love, I always know what to get and know it's going to be perfect. The cafe has a great atmosphere and is a super cute hideaway in the city centre. I hope the store doesn't expand, change or disappear as I believe it is one of my favourite places in Nottingham! If they were to shut down I don't think I could bear losing the pinacolada ice tea!!!
Wonderful banh mi and pho, and a wide variety of drink options beyond the usual selection. A word of warning on the summer rolls though - my friend said they were 'the best thing [she'd] eaten in a month', but for me it was like biting into a bar of Imperial Leather. It isn't the cafe's fault if I/you have the generic quirk that makes coriander taste like soap though, just be aware there's a lot of it.
I'm being harsh, but it loses the star for being cash-only. This would be disappointing in 2020 even if it were a normal year, let alone the blighted plague year it is. On that subject, the COVID precautions were otherwise all good, nothing to complain about there.
Great, authentic Vietnamese dishes. Only 4 choices on the menu, but all good and refreshing not to be overwhelmed with choice. I also had the iced Vietnamese coffee which was delicious. Would definitely return.
Tucked away down a road past the Victoria Centre, this cafe has a lovely aesthetic and feels welcoming as you step in. Although the menu is small, food is prepared to the highest standard and they are more than capable of catering for various dietary requirements. The vegetable pho was delicious, eaten on a bench tucked in the corner and enjoying the atmosphere. A must try.
Lovely little cafe with nice decoration and very friendly, polite staff. Pho is very clear and light in falvour - those who prefer stronger flavours might find it too light. The banh mi is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Will be going back for banh mi
What a little gem! My first Banh mi since visiting Vietnam in 2017 and every bit as good as the ones I'd had in Hoi An (actually better than a few places!). This place is fantastic and superb value for money.
