Went for Sunday Lunch yesterday..excellent food and service..never rated this place in the past..but an amazing turn around this past few months..the waiting staff were polite and couldn't have been more helpful..there was a fair wait for food..but the taste and value well compensated for it!.. a deffo 5!

I had the roast beef Sunday dinner. It was very nice. Everything fresh and home made. My partner had the chicken pie. Again very tasty and home made. Lovely cosy pub with a brilliant atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

My friend Trisha and myself decided to have a wander in for a bite to eat. We fell in love with the place from the start. The landlord and wife were so welcoming, the food was amazing. We both had fish and chips, yummy πŸ˜‹. Also the Eton mess was the best we have had anywhere. We are elderly, we're treated with utmost respect. Definitely will visit again as often as we can. A huge GOLD star 🌟 is merited from us two. And a closing comment top marks for the disabled toilet. Very important to me , they are not always as described, Broad Oak is not lacking in anything. Well done to all concerned at Strelley Broad Oak. Thanks for a lovely experience. Mary and Trisha x πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Had a walk up today. Was in two minds to be honest as we've had some bad experiences in the past. I'm delighted to say the service was great, the food was great. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.

They were busy, so a bit of a wait. But busy indicates that people like it. Good quality ale on tap although a somewhat narrow range... although plenty of layers if that appeals to you.

Great food, kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Disappointed they don’t sell bottled water. I would recommend the beef and ale pie.

I had fish and chips and rest of the party had gammon. Gammon was faultless however fish was quite small and I had around 8 chips which seems a bit tight given the higher price tag. Didn’t get a warm reception by the two young girls at the bar and had to wait ten minutes until I was acknowledged even though nobody else at the bar. Overall nice atmosphere and decent prices but must be more generous with portion sizes

It was my first time ever in a proper pub, the area around was lovely and beatiful, it was very peacful outside and inside the pub! Great for taking some pictures! The food was really good and the portions were massive. My boyfriend got the grilled mix of meats and I got fish and chips, both of these dishes made us full and we barely finished them. The beer was super tasty and cheap as well. The entire place was also very clean and the girls working behind the bar were so nice! They kept on asking us if everything was okay and if the food was good. We are planning to come back next week!

Nice pub located in Strelley Village out the way. Large beer garden and car park. Has guest ales on tap that change frequently. Nice friendly atmosphere and service. Great pub to visit for a pint after a walk. Went for food and drink this evening with a friend. Food was excellent value for money and very tasty. Excellent friendly service. Will definitely return. Returned, still excellent food and offers during the week. Great value and friendly service.

The manager and staff are super helpful and care about the customers they serve. It's just such a shame that Greene King will not spend 1 penny on the inside of a grade 2 listed public house steeped in history and cater only for pubs that are on the large side. Everywhere is in need of a refurbishment and sadly not had one for around 17 years +
