So for my birthday back in October, my fabulous and beautiful wife brought me a day experience with the boys at the snobby Butcher, this day is just amazing, from start to finish and fantastic friendships made that day,
Don’t be a spectator be the butchers apprentice , if you love meat there is plenty to go around, from preparing the meat for the counter, to boning out the pigs , pork, to all the succulent cuts of the meat, plus we did the magic in the basement in Johnnys salt dungeon ( top secret this bit ) I made my own sausages and burgers with Steve showing me the ropes on how to manage the sausages machine.
You take home your sausages you make to and lots of other fantastic bits to , My Thor hammer was the best bit of meat I took home and prepared by myself under the watchful eye of the master.
This day was just amazing and it’s just the start of fabulous things to come with these boys , super gift from the wife and an unforgettable experience thank to the boys at the snobby butcher.

Snobby burger is hands down the best burger in Nottingham. Its a little more pricey than other burger takeaways but worth every penny. In case you're wondering the burger in the picture is the Juicy Lucy with braised bbq beef added to the top and 100% gets my recommendation

Walked past the butchers this morning and popped in out of curiosity. Couldn’t resist buying some dry aged rump steak and lamb sausages. Cooked both for dinner and honestly some of the best steak my son and I have eaten. Merguiz sausage was super tasty too. Txs a lot think I have found my butcher of choice :-)

Went to a sausage and burger making night. Great fun, thoroughly enjoyed it. Under the expert guidance of Johnny we added our own flavours to what we were making.
We were fed some of the lovely produce that the shop stocks and then got to take home the sausages and burgers that we’d made.
Great meat. Especially beef steaks. Great cured bacon but a bit salty for some. Incredible range of sausages. Really good pork pies too.
Had the best time ever, learning how to make sausages and burgers. Johnny makes everything fun, his knowledge can’t be beaten. Plus we got to take home everything that we made - result!
Definitely an experience I’d recommend.
Excellent butchers with friendly staff. I only eat free range white meat & the quality is superb.
Johny and his lovely familly provided the most delicious food for our post wedding party day :) His sausages are still the best I have ever eaten and would highly recommend it with his version of melted crispy cheese :) 10/10

My sons and I just tried a takeaway of the new Snobby Burgers. They were fantastic! I can't remember when I've had a burger so good. The meat was flavourful and cooked perfectly, the brioche bun, the toppings, everything was great. And we even raved to one another about the chips, probably the best we've ever had. Well done and we hope the business continues to grow!
I have used this butcher for years. Great guys throughout. We ordered their new Snobby Burgers and they were great. The beef burger is proper meaty and delicious, but the star of the show was the Hungarian burger. Absolutely phenomenal. Def worth a try 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I’ve been using this butchers for years now and there’s always amazing beef and pork from Jonny…And sausages too. I go out of my way especially to come to this butcher shop as it’s great quality and i can say from visiting the farm Jonny rears his pigs on, it has absolutely amazing standards and certainly high welfare. Would highly recommend .
driven past 1000 times and never gone in - first visit today and it was incredible. amazing selection - staff were friendly and courteous actually felt like they appreciated your custom. quality of the produce is great - i wont be buying bacon / sausages / meat from the supermarket again. support local. well bowled guys keep up the good work, see you next Saturday!!!!
Outstanding establishment, I’ve recently moved to Nottingham and i was recommended this butcher by a family member who lives in Mapperley.
Having purchased several meats from them i rang this morning to ask where to take my beloved set of Global Knives to get sharpened, they were friendly enough to offer to sharpen them for me, as a token of my gratitude i bought coffee and biscuits for the team, but i just had to take the time to thank them with a review.
Genuinely some of the most professional people I’ve met in this industry, as my father was a butcher i love to support local and i will continue to do so, unfortunately i wasn’t able to catch the gents name this morning, however even though they were busy he took the time to have a chat with me about what they offer in store, from dry-aged to oxtail, and back bacon to square sausage, these guys do it all!
Fabulous friendly staff, I always come away from the shop buying much more than I intended to, the range of sausages is particularly tempting. You still hold the accolade in my family for the best piece of roast beef that they have ever eaten (supplied for a family wedding). Thank you all at The Snobby Butchers
