A nice place to take children to see the animals outside. The farm shop has good selection of meat plus other local goods. The cafe has warm and welcoming feel. We when as a family to pick a pumpkin today got a little wet, but still, enjoyed the experience.

Lovely place off the beaten track. The baked potatoes were great and such good value. Nice decaf coffee. Spacious outside seating area but, smaller space inside. Not busy on a cooler day. Service was good and friendly staff.

Omg first of all, the walk is amazing to this beautiful cafe, bar and farmshop. Lots of animals on the walk up and very open, well kept rear garden area with beanbag throwing game for the children and a wooden decked, shaded area as well. You can interact with the animals and if your lucky they let you stroke them, which I got to. I went into the bar area and behold, cake and we know cake is life!!! This is not just a normal cake, this a dovecote strawberry and pimm's cake. Play the halo noise, the knife slid effortlessly through and the cider was a nice, refreshing palette cleansing addition - well that's how I justify it. So I pay a fair price to sit in an idyllic location but the server was a young girl compared to me, polite and extremely professional even apologised when she had to take a booking on the phone. Very impressed, nothing to big or small which she the young gentleman would not undertake to assist you further. Now back to the cake, if 50 shades was a sponge with frosting and jam, then I'm taking my slice and calling it Christian. Sponge moist and good bubble depth plus no sogginess - most important no dryness. The pimm's and the strawberry was divine, so good I went back a second time - I would pay for this cake for a birthday or just because I'm fat and love 🎂 🥮. Next time, I'm booking for a table!!!

What a little gem of a discovery after realising one of my favourite places in West Bridgeford only opens for breakfast at 11am. The lovely country atmosphere was worth the 15 min drive to get here & for people who enjoy a big English breakfast, this is it. Eggs Benedict also on offer, amongst others. Coffee real good.

We stopped in on a bike ride on a quiet Saturday morning and ordered a couple of coffees and a slice of the cake. After 35 minutes I asked a waitress and then it was over 5 more minutes before our order came out. Now the coffee was lovely and the cake was genuinely delicious but the excuse of there's been a rush on just didn't cut it - especially as we were sitting outside, as were all of the other customers, so we could see that it wasn't busy (6 other tables!) It was disappointing as I genuinely wanted to give the place a 5star review as I was genuinely impressed. I'm not going to give up though and will try again, hopefully with a shorter wait on my coffee and cake! The outside seating areas are lovely and the little farm has a lot to offer (for free) for families with small children as well as a few outside games for the slightly older kids too! There's a fresh farm shop there as well which my friend said is great but I didn't go for a look.

I had the Farmers breakfast. I also had a glass of fresh orange juice. Absolutely amazing food. Will be back to try an evening meal.

An amazing place nestled In a wonderful sleepy village surrounded by countryside and farmland. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing. Full wheelchair access and dog friendly. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. This is one of the few places I will be returning to for food and drink.

Fabulous! What splendid variety from such small rural restaurant. I enjoyed the Chinese New Year there last weekend. Beautiful wontons and spring rolls! Tasted as good as ones from a chinese restaurant. Will definitely revisit! The new A La Carte menu looks delicious and the reviews of Steak Night have given me FOMO! Whole-heartedly recommended :)

Wonderful cafe hidden away off the A453 on the way into Nottingham. Had the farmers breakfast which was excellent - superb produce cooked really well. Well worth a visit

This is now where we go for our breakfast treat on a Saturday. Staff are friendly and the breakfasts are really nice. No fat on the bacon and proper quality sausages.
