A great little pub. Freshly cooked food by chef Luke. They are open Thursday to Sunday, with a new bar menu and Sunday roast. The new menu consists of some great food at a reasonable price, it also includes a children's menu. Recommended!
Visited the white lion with 5 friends on Thursday evening and although it was rather quite, the meal (lamb shank) was excellent and all for £10 for 2 meals, deserts 2 for £5. The staff were very helpful and the place spotless. We shall certainly be going again.
Hadn't been here in years...happy I did as really changed since I last visited. Friendly staff, nice decor, comfy seats & moretti on tap, what more could u ask for?! Will be popping in more often now.

A great place for good food and drink. Very friendly and welcoming. The white lion also has a very good beer garden. And a play area for children.well worth a visit
1st time here on Saturday 3rd August went to a 30th Birthday party the food was delicious the staff were very friendly & service was good had a great night
