I just love the new large bar and the friendly vibe. It's so light and welcoming. The new menu is fab and although I'm not vegan I have eaten here loads because the food quality is exceptional. Highly recommend

We went to The Peacock a few weeks ago and had the Tempeh burger. The place was packed for a mid week but we were actually served quickly and the portion was more than we could cope with. We will definitely be back when time allows as we loved the place, the ambience and the menu as well as the service. It is absolutely fantastic to have a vegan pub in Nottingham. So proud of you! Hopefully more will follow suit.

No kids after 6pm? Brilliant! The Peacock is a marvellous pub. The staff are great, the drinks are great, the chips could be better, but the food is still good. Definitely worth a visit.

Well kept beer, great staff, clean and tidy rooms. It's dog friendly, and Tia the pub dog will be very affectionate if you have any food. Unfortunately they don't do food at the moment.

Nice place with friendly staff and a decent beer selection, could do with a few new cask ales on though.

A fully vegan pub is a rare thing to find and this place didn't disappoint. We visited mid-afternoon and it was quiet but enjoyable as the music playing was very different and interesting. The decor in the main bar is nice but a little tired as the toilets were too, my only reason for not giving five stars. Food was brilliant. The tofu-fish was fantastic, perfect in fact. The leek and mushroom pie was very tasty and lovely pastry. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. We also got to try the aubergine and courgette cake which was absolutely delicious, just like carrot cake. Will definitely be back next time in Nottingham. Not all drinks are vegan but staff know which are/aren't so ask first.

A lovely old pub, recently updated to a super clean and stylish standard, by the new owners, who seem to be very efficient and friendly. A good menu of cocktails, with several draught ales.

A re-visit after many years away, used to be my/our daily local. An utterly beautifully cleanned up pub back to the way it was. The service bells up and running. It is a stunning revival of a classic pub, into a classic pub! Well done to those who did this great permanent place, a new lease of life. Stunning.

Really well restored Victorian pub. Eased to see the table service is still going strong. Quiet with good selection of beers.

Visited the Peacock today and what a Gorgeous place- only pub left in Nottingham with the original bell-push service in the Lounge apparently. They were certainly gorgeous and the restoration has been sympathetically done. Staff member was extremely friendly and it’s deserved more customers than it had as unfortunately they were quite for such a central location. Not serving food but did good coffee! Definitely worth a visit!

We’ve been meaning to go in for a while and finally got the chance. Did not disappoint! It has been refurbished and looks amazing, this is kept up with the owners who clearly take pride in their pub, service and cleanliness was amazing!! Totally different from 5 years ago and well worth visiting for one or the night. We wish them all the best and look forward to making this a new regular place for us to chill being a fellow publicans 👍🏼👌🏼

100% vegan menu and everytime I've been the food has been very, very good. Service can be a bit erratic but the food is great so swings and roundabouts.

Traditional pub that has recently reopened. It's been spruced up nicely and offers a range of drinks from cask ale to ciders. I would have liked to see more variety in the cask section and perhaps a wider selection of craft beer available, but it's early days so hopefully that may happen in time. Note: my original rating was incorrect, I had accidentally clicked 3 not 4 stars, so have corrected this.

Great little pub in the heart of Nottingham. More old world than cocktail bar (but they do cocktails).
