When ever I am in Stapleford I try to visit this award winning pub. Always an excellent selection of beers to choose from, a friendly local pub that treats its customers well. A very good pub.
Excellent over night stay here. It exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Really good value for money. We had two rooms. One with double bed one with twin beds. Both were very comfortable. Bonus of Pizza night in the pub below too.. delicious! Very little noise from the pub a
Great friendly service. Dogs allowed. Pub is a bit tired but only recently taken over by the new management. Will definitely be going back
First visit her on Friday. Stagg extremely friendly and genuine, not forced friendliness. Great selection of beers. Was very busy, but no screaming or shouting by anyone, just nice people having nice conversations. Would highly recommend and we will be returning often.
Nice old style pub inside friendly staff beer prices around £4 a pint how did beer get so expensive for a night out
Good for the quiz on Wednesday and the rugby but be sure to book a table.
Always a friendly welcome, good range of well kept beer
It was a great place for a cheap stay, nice pub with an excellent range of drinks. Situated near the bus stops. Accommodation adequate, clean and comfortable.
Not usually into Real Ale pubs, but needed accommodation for a weekend whilst working locally. Brilliant range of beers, well kept and served by really friendly staff. Loved the sausage rolls. Will be returning the next time I'm in the area.
