Visiting on a day visiþ to the hospital. Cracking little place to visit. Reaped ìn history and the 2 staff in today 11/3/24 have an amazing knowledge of the place. The prices are competitive compared to other places but the atmosphere is batter. Give it a try. We will be back soon to try a meal.
As I arrived the staff were very welcoming, me and my partner sat too have a look at the menu before ordering and the staff recommended the steak and ale pies. The food came fast and was perfect, the pie was delicious. Will definitely be back again for food.
Been here a few times now, the first couple experiences were amazing. Food was wonderful and staff very attentive and nice. The last time I came the food was not the best (I had fish and chips) and the service was very slow. But my boyfriend got a pie and absolutely loved it. Its very nice decorated
Been here a few times now and the food is amazing and so are the staff. The pub has a large seating area at the rear which looks onto the canal which is great to sit by and have a drink on a hot summers day. With it being Greene King too there is the option to order food and drinks from the table vi
Great priced drinks, large selection of wines too! The food was super tasty, I tried the halloumi and the squid which was great! The overall service was great, especially from Owen!
Regularly visit Via Fossa with friends and family due to its great food! Tried out a new summer item on the menu on the last visit the open camembert and prosciutto sandwich which was delicious and of course had to have some of their fantastic chips
Visited with my partner and friend and considering they were tremendously short staffed the food, service and overall experience was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and conversated regularly. Special mention to the chef (Tom) food was brilliant !!
Brilliant food, atmosphere, service and drinks here. Really friendly, lovely surroundings and a great place to watch the football/post work pint. Will definitely be back!
We used the function room upstairs for a 50th birthday. The room was perfect and and dressed beautifully without much effort. Porcia, alfie and owen went above and beyond and made it a very relaxed experience to organise. I would 100% recommend for any future events!

Would like to thank Sarah and Anneise for their excellent customer service and hard work, on Saturday for Wendy’s 60th Birthday. The Food was excellent, nothing was to much trouble, and the Table had such a personal touch with name cards etc , that was a lovely surprise. Will definitely be returning

Booked a table early yesterday morning, was all sorted in a good location for when we arrived. Food was good, service was great and the food all came out pretty much together which is a challenge with a table of 10 on a quiet Monday! Definitely my place to eat when I want to be confident of the qual
It’s a good atmosphere and when the suns out it’s lovely to sit out and watch the justice centre where people do their best to see their children. Food wise it’s good and drinks wise there’s a big range. A lot of options for seating and it has a cool vibe Worth popping into
Visited a few days ago with friends for lunch. Food was fantastic and the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive! The little dish offers are a must try.
