Before the refit I would never have gone into the dive it was. Now it is stunning. There is a very relaxed feel to the inside, open and welcoming. The array of real ales available is fabulous and just have a look at the whiskey menu! There is live music on a Wednesday evening. The staff were friendly and efficient. Two very positive pluses for me though are no sports and no kids. Perfect. Well done Flipside on creating a truly refreshing pub.

If you like good beer and an environment that is telly free and that you can actually hear the person beside you then this is the pub for you. Not to forget the very pleasant and helpful bar staff.

Fabulous pub with great ale and Stowford press. Dog friendly too with doggie treats on the bar. Staff are always friendly and talkative and the food is lovely. It's never uncomfortably busy and waiting time at the bar....well there is none. The bands are worth a look too

Lovely place, friendly staff even tho I stuck out in like a sore thumb in the bar. Nicely maintained and clean with a nice little beer garden when we have our short lived summer

Nice pub with a relaxed atmosphere, no loud music so it's great for a catch up. It's run by a local brewery team and hosts a lot of real/cask ales from other local breweries. They also have several mini beer festivals throughout the year, one of which is this weekend.

*Food Score is (Drinks)* As you walk in you're meet with a great selection of whiskies and microbrewery beers. Nice dog friendly establishment to stop by to quench your dogs thirst giving you perfect cover quench your own. A nice quiet pub to sit down in or outside with crisps pork scratchings and nuts whilst having a nice drink.

Limited food range but that's not why people go there. Lovely staff and a great range of beers. One of my favorite places. Has live music some nights and a regular Sunday evening quiz.

Went into this pub for the first time ever last night. It was quiz night so I thought, why not. It was a lovely atmosphere with a mix of all ages. Bar staff were friendly and welcoming and all smiling which is nice to see. They carry a fantastic range of beers and although not a big beer drinker myself, I would assume caters for the most eclectic of tastes. The pub is dog friendly too. The only one negative, and it's trivial, is the quiz PA is very poor. Half the pub couldn't hear the questions! Anyway I will return.
