We eat here regularly and the staff are fab and food always good π we are very sad π about the closure we will definitely miss the place .

I used to come here as a child myself and I loved it so took my 2 children and they loved it food was decent deserts were so yummy but took a wile to get to the table although I understood because it was rather busy with the boxing night Lovely staff! Thank you.

Food was good 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for Β£20 real bargain. Generous portions so you'll not leave hungry. Great outside play area for the kids. Met up with friends here the night before a wedding atmosphere was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy.
First visit, can say it was a nice clean pub with an outdoor play area for children which I always find is a bonus!!! The meals were hot and nice, the staff were friendly and I really enjoyed my visit. Will be returning.
We had 2 lovely men that made us feel Welcome for my 40th birthday! Had a laugh with us and made sure we had a good time! Thank you so much can't wait to come back for the next birthday in 2 weeks!

Marstons have done a great job of the refurbishment and we have been twice since the reopening, lovely food and great menu, loads better atmosphere in there, staff are amazing, we will be regulars. πππ
Really good pub for a family meal. Staff were really friendly and we were served quickly. Huge choice on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan. Food all very nice, if some portions a little small - but very good value still. We were a group of 10 on a Saturday lunchtime. I'm surprised we managed to book a table only the night before, and it wasn't very busy when we were there.
First visit since the renovation and we were not disappointed. New decor was lovely. We were a party of 20 and was impressed that despite ordering our meals on separate bills, they all came out together and still hot and of good quality. Portion sizes and value for money both very good. The pizzas looked amazing too.
Good place to eat with kids. Recomend

This is great since it's been done up. The pizzas are beautiful as they've got a proper pizza oven but they do take a while. Staff are super friendly. Only downside is they don't have a soft play area for children
Wasn't sure what to make of this place before we arrived but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and attentative and we didn't have to wait a crazy time for the food.
The menu is varied enough to cater for everyone and at a decent price too.
Will definitely return and would recommend
Just had a really nice meal with Hobgoblin beer, can't beat it. We had a voucher and didn't do it correctly but the bar staff said don't worry we will sort it. Very nice people and a good time was had by my wife and myself. Thank you.
