Went here for an evening meal and drink, quick service, good price and friendly staff, shout out to the team leader that help with our brief issue and thank you to the team for a lovely evening and wrapping our leftover to take home. Would recommend great team.
Took my 92 yr old mum here for birthday lunch last week. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent and the pub is easy to reach and a lovely interesting old building. My mum lost her ring and I had to go back. The manager helped me look and we found it by the front door.
Wonderful place. Been tonight for a Christmas menu taster, cooked by the fantastic beautiful Chef Simone, and hosted by wonderful Manager Cameron, had the most delicious food treats Staff are friendly, attentive and amiable, well worth a regular visit here. Thank you everyone. X

Where's my phone? Staff took a lot time out to check, then show me CCTV footage. Additionally... booked a time to call my phone to coincide with me getting back home. So cool, so thoughtful 10/10 respect x
As a transplant resident from the US, this is my favourite traditional pub in West Bridgford. The atmosphere is quaint, comfortable, and traditional. Bar is well supplied with local ales and if there is a match on, there is a huge projection screen in the back. Definitely worth a visit.
Change a lot since I've last been in ,nice friendly staff and good selection of beers.
Fine until they turn up the music that loud you couldn't hear your self speak, time to go.
Had such a lovely Saturday night at the test match, Amy looked after us and I couldn’t ask for better service. Very efficient, knowledgeable about the drinks she was serving and above all so kind. Couldn’t recommend enough

Great pub, used to visit with my grandad 13/14 years ago. It's changed hands a few times since then but it looks the same, and the staff are very friendly. Charming venue, the decor is peaceful and cultured. It's not a rowdy boozer, nor is it somewhere that is always going to be crawling with punter
We’re a group of muddy Mtb’s, normally most pubs leave us out in the cold, well not this one !!, the hostess came out and told us to bring our bikes through the pub into a secure area and then let us inside for a refreshing few pints and a warm up!, the hospitality from them was amazing and the beer

Great food. The nachos were better than the ones at Wetherspoons. Only 3 for the atmosphere, simply because it was quiet on Sunday afternoon. I got to the quiz on a Tuesday, and it’s always busier and lively, so depends when you go.
