Bonzai - Nottingham - Photo album

My girlfriend and I came here for a quick dinner and loved the food. We both like sushi so ordered the massive sushi platter (Yokozuna) - which amusingly came as a decorative boat! It was all delicious with great flavours, was fresh tasting and we'd definitely visit again! I had the Aloe Vera juice
100% recommend Bonsai, service excellent and really friendly. Nice comfortable surroundings, really good value for this level of food. My daughter had been before and suggested it, glad she did because the sashimi was about the best thing I have ever eaten (seriously) and the miso soup was the bes
Really tasty food with something for everyone. Good prices and speedy service.
Very nice service. The food are great, reasonable price and many choices on the menu. Would like to come and have dinner again.
Bonzai is a hidden gem for Japanese cuisine lovers. The intimate ambiance and minimalist decor set the stage for an authentic dining experience. The menu, a fusion of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes, impresses with meticulous preparation and high-quality ingredients. From sushi rolls to
Amazing! Stumbled across this restaurant when we were in town for an event and we enjoyed every youthful. The mango and cream cheese sushi is surprisingly light and delicious. Highly recommended.
Amazing no frill place with fantastic food and brilliant prices and you get a lot ! We went for the lunchtime deal . 3 course £11.99 Couldn’t eat it all so we took some home . Thank you
Came with a friend - I had beef, udon noodles and spicy Korean sauce; she had duck, rice noodles and satay sauce. Excellent and clean restaurant; friendly staff and great portions. Definitely felt very authentic and gave me vibes of when I was in Japan. The create your own dish is defo worth a shout
Honestly this place was amazing, it's got quite a cozy atmosphere to it all together and the staff who serve you are extremely kind towards you. The food itself was also really well done, first time trying sake and miso soup alongside the golden dragon but it was overall quite a pleasant experience.
Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Nottingham. Have had sushi at this place for at least 5 times and they never disappoint. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Japanese! 🙌🏻
I had my first ever sushi here today, so much in love with sushi now. The menu is huge, good service, amazing portion size, and the vibe of the restaurant are also really good. A good place to go if you are trying sushi for the first time and also if you are a vegetarian.
Very happy with the service and food!! Food was very tasty 😋 Staff was very helpful, accommodating and friendly especially DAN, I highly recommend him. He is amazing! My son has spelt his soda and he was so helpful making sure that we are okay and comfortable. Dan was a huge asset to your business.
The food is excellent. The staff are friendly. It falls down a bit as it could be cleaner and could do with a decorative facelift.
Lovely spot, great food, pricier than other options in town but lovely as a special treat.
Beautiful restaurant, the interior is lovely, very well decorated and the music is played at a perfect volume, loud enough to hear it but not too loud to not be able to hear anyone. I ordered the Sakana bento box, the portions are massive, well worth the money! You get miso soup with it before the b
Great food and reasonably priced. Visited about 6 times over the last 2 years and its now mine and my sons favourite restaurant. Waiting staff are pleasant and friendly and love their level of service.
I’ve eaten here many times now and the prawn sushi is to die for, even as takeaway it still tastes so good! The place is a little expensive - around £10 for one roll. The interior and toilets are old/dated so that should be improved. Other than that it’s nice!
Hands down best sushi restaurant in Nottingham, authentic vibes and a really cool little restaurant. The service is quite slow but the food more than makes up for it! The restaurant gets rather busy so single diners / couples be prepared to be seated on the same table as other diners as the restaura
