Very enjoyable great tasting food the portions was not small and very tastey well worth the money. The staff was friendly and never rushed you. Shelly took her time to point out the vegetarian foods to my needs as iam picky will deffo returning back drove past this placefor many years and never entered its a hiddern gem.
The food is amazing and the staff are even better. Waiter couldn't do enough to help us and was all round friendly. Would definitely recommend!
This was the first time we had visited The Viceroy. We had a lovely evening, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was great. My daughter is a vegetarian which wasn't a problem as they had lots of dishes to choose from. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend.
A party of 16 of us for a celebration birthday meal. All meals were fantastic and plenty of it. Customer service is excellent and staff are both friendly and knowledgeable

Went for the first time on Valentine's night, as it was our anniversary my husband booked me a surprise meal there got to say it was beautiful, the food was excellent friendly staff great, defiently going again 10/10 ���

We purchased some food to takeaway and it was fabulous!! The customer service was excellent! The manager charmed my two young sons and gave them a free drink each whilst we waited. Extremely generous portions. Will be visiting again soon!
This is my local restaurant. I love this place. The food is always great and the staff are incredibly friendly. The owner always has time to say hello regardless of how busy he is. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great for a quiet meal or to meet a group of friends.

Great!! Came for a birthday meal and all staff were very friendly, loved the lady behind the bar made us feel so welcome when arrived!(kangaroo balls �) they over heard it was my birthday and gave free cheesecake and drink for all 4 of us! (without even asking) Defiantly go back again.

My second time coming to Viceroy and the service and food just get better and better. Thank you to the server we had for making it that extra better. I hope you liked the extra tip but honestly the best place to come to in Nottingham for Indian cuisine. I can not recommend enough

The food is good and I think it's priced good for the quality of food and portion sizes. The restaurant is more contemporary than authentic. The service is a little blunt depending which waiter you get. The food does come out very quick as other reviews state so you do feel a little rushed even though the waiters favourite saying was "take your time" I did feel a little rushed. If the cost was to expensive then there would be small details that I would pick on. For example the cutlery feels a little small in your hands, the water fountain ornament wasn't working properly, the curtains have been cut to length with no hem, the lamp had seen better days. But of cause all these are small nit picking things that not everyone will notice but if they were put right you would struggle to fault the restaurant. I will definitely go again. There are some good off peak offers too!
Went there with my dad (visiting from London) and my wife, we used to live close to UKs curry mike in London Brick lane and I can say the Viceroy is up there withe best of them. Pleasant staff and nothing was to much. John the owner even came over and welcomed us because we had never been in before. This won’t be our last visit

We had the BEST meal here last night!!!!! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and are delighted that we chose the Viceroy for the event. We will most definitely be back. Thanks to everyone.

Best curry house north of the city. Not many places in England do Pakora, so an extra star from me! Take away is great as well. Service is swift and friendly! Very relaxed in restaurant!

Garlic Chicken starter is something different from other Indian restaurants.
Mixed Pakoras are crispy & a great starter
Punjabi Chicken is made home style, a little hot but so good.
The veg biryani with raita is very tasty & a little large, ended up taking a small doggie bag home :)

First time at this restaurant, certainly not the last. Had the Thali ( 9 different dishes) Absolutely superb food , served with a smile. Will definitely visit again.
