We visited for the first time Sunday just gone and we would highly recommend it and without a doubt be going back again. The Strawberry cream tea and sandwiches we had were amazing and the service was excellent couldnt do enough for us. If you do go i recommend you book if you want to sit inside but if you dont mind sitting outside like we did it is still as good x

Lovely afternoon tea here. Not rushed and offered more tea. Fabulously fresh cakes and a good selection. They do gluten free as well by pre order I believe. New favourite tea room! Need to book though and no room for pushchair

First visit today, have to say, priced really well, nice not to pay extortionate prices for a change. Will be visiting regular. Lively little place and delicious food.

Fantastic service from Gaby on Friday afternoon, it was very busy but she was helpful, polite and still smiling! On previous visits the customer service from another lady wasn’t as good, Gaby has restored my faith in this little tearoom.

We popped in to the tea rooms yesterday after a walk through Newstead Abbey. We hadn't booked and were welcomed in for delightful snack and a pot of tea. Very reasonable and will visit again, maybe for lunch next time😉

Our first visit today, Outstanding venue, service and quality. It was simply perfect. We can't wait to go again. If your planning to go on a Bank Holiday I would recommend that you book a table.

Absolutely lovely. Relaxed welcoming atmosphere, and fabulous cake. We arrived after lunch service had finished so we started with cheese scones with big wedges of cheese and homemade green tomato chutney, and tea for our main course then progressed to cake and coffee for dessert. Incidentally, one of the best cups of coffee I've had! Book to guarantee a table, it gets busy, car park not huge, but we managed to get a spot ok as we arrived at the end of lunch service. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Very attentive service, delicious cakes, and a choice of teas served just right. The coffee was not to quite the same standard, but it is a tearoom. Well worth a visit. We didn't try the lunch or breakfast options, but they looked great. Booking advised. You have to order the full cream tea in advance.

I first came came across this little gem in lock down and living away from Nottingham wanted to do something special for a family member so had an afternoon tea for 2 with bubbles delivered nothing was to trouble and they said it was the absolute best afternoon tea they had ever had! So I couldn't thank mortons tea rooms enough and thought one day I must travel over and sample some tea and cake in person .....that day was yesterday and it didn't disappoint from us just going on the off chance I thought maybe we wouldn't get a table as very busy but they squeezed us in me,mum and my son and we had the best Victoria sponge and tea and it's my mums birthday in a few days was lovely off the cuff outing 😊 would reccomend 5 stars to anyone will definitely be returning from the lovely attentive staff , the atmosphere ,the food the whole experience was amazing many thanks

What a terrific find. Only went for short walk across the fields and entered Linby by the side of the church and came across this gorgeous tearooms. What an idyllic setting, with great latte and flapjack. Only opens Friday Saturday and Sunday if you want to indulge.

Great homemade food, cakes and lovely coffee at reasonable prices. Currently open 10-2PM Sat and Sundays only during lockdown for takeaway but lots of great nearby walks and benches to enjoy the treats. Lovely people, highly recommended. Free private car park up the little lane behind the farmhouse. A hidden gem indeed! 😁🍰
