1st time at this cafe, great take on tapas idea lots of tasty Italian food, four in our party each of us chose seperate dishes which we all shared, really enjoyable and the bill at the end was better than expected. A really great atmosphere and knowledge staff. Will definitely be going back.

Enjoyed the afternoon here today celebrating a friend's birthday. A very relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. Wasn't keen on the starter, brie and onion tart, rather dry, no salad or dressing, but the salmon fish cakes and baklava for dessert were scrumptious.

What a nice hidden treasure. Laid back and cosy café with an interesting menu, great for a both casual and romantic dinner. Lovely and friendly staff, great atmosphere and such a tasty food. Not to mention the quality-price ratio! I loved the spicy lentils with fried halloumi and courgette fritters.

My social life is eating good food and drinking good wine. I experienced both here the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed the staff here are so friendly but not intrusive. For lunch early doors or evening meal I would recommend you experience this resturant a true gem in the city centre

This place is shabby - chic at its best Staff great. Food superb. Warm winter place with big windows to watch the world go by with fine wine. Keep it coming Edin.

Stopped in for some brunch and found it pleasant enough. The all day breakfast was cooked well and was a generous portion but my latte was lukewarm and I was charged a fiver for 2 cans of coke.

As a new 'local' and lover of many things spanish, I was drawn to this place by the menu of the day, topped by my one of my favourite, authentic and rarer-in-the-UK tapas: 'pimientos de padrón' : salted baby peppers. More fascinating: no sign or branding due to refurb-in-progress, no name on the menu, but plenty of customers, and a waiting staff who, in the midst of busy serving, extended the friendly courtesy of asking what I might wish for - this despite just wearing a rucsac and being just a solo perplexed-looking individual mid-afternoon. This drew me in because - as a newbie to NG1 - I really thought I had researched every bar, cafe and restaurant in the area to show to out-of-towners, but this one's subtle charms had eluded me til today. I'll be back...

Love this place. I go to the one on Broad St opposite the cinema. Excellent value for money on lunches. No pressure from staff to 'hurry up' feel able to stay as long as you want.
