Firstly, the garden area before you enter the cafe is so cute and adorable, heated for on a cold night for a cosy chat. The cafe itself is roomy for all dates, occasions, celebrations. The food options are so good...you can't settle at just 1 visit as you are spoiled for choice. Sunday dinners here are top notch! A must try as no ordinary pub grub, its simply delicious. Great cocktails, properly made the way they should be. 2-4-1 available. The staff, the owners...extremely welcoming. One of my favourite places in Nottingham, worth a visit!

Wonderful gem to visit. Friendly staff, bright & pleasant tea room, with abundance of teas, delicious bites and sumptuous cakes. Lunch here is worth the visit for high tea or a light munch between shopping. Eggs Benedict here, personal favourite.

On our trip to Nottingham in the heatwave, we had champagne on the lovely shaded patio at Thea Caffea. Very friendly and efficient service. Returned for the excellent coffee a couple of afternoons later. Again first class service. Lovely place and looks stylish and spacious inside also.

Thea Caffea is a sofisticated and traditional English Tea Room. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. They have its own secluded gravel courtyard with outside seating ideal for the summer months.

Out the way of the main street and has a small local tea room feel with great outdoor area and indoor area. Towards the back of the building it opens up into a larger area with a more modern feel. When we visited there was a display of tea in cups which you could smell and view. Maybe about 20 different types, plus a sample of Tetley Tea in the middle which looked like tea dust. ;-) Staff are really nice and just as I would expect. This place is a hidden gem and was really unexpected the first time we found it.

Be sure to lookout for the sign. It's tucked inside an alleyway with a cobbler next to the entrance. The scones are magnificent and with the ambience is suitable for afternoon tea.

So glad this is back and the new owners seem to be really friendly and on the ball - full of good ideas for special events. On Saturday I had the best bacon roll I'd tasted in ages. Loads of bacon that was perfectly cooked. A nice soft roll...great combination. And a pot of English breakfast tea to wash it down. Lovely setting, great atmosphere and great food.

Don't know Nottingham very well but we were lucky to stumble upon this gem of a place. Fab atmosphere, either dining in or outside. We are lunch outside and the food was delicious. Very reasonably priced as well. The staff were so friendly and attentive as well. We absolutely loved the place and would highly recommend it.
